    Ok i have a single 15 custom slot ported box, specs are 3.5 cubes net 15 inches port per cube with a tuning of 34-35hz.

    Music likes range from techno, rock, to deep hitting rap.

    I want to keep the output of my kicker cvx but i want a siginificant upgrade on SQ and deep clean bass.

    Power is 1000rms but im a little scared that my tuning is really high and that the skars would somehow be less clean sounding and just not the perfect box for them.

    Also was considering a sundown sa 15 since im tuned pretty high but the price is literally $60 more and i dont know if its really worth it unless you guys think so.

    Any advice?

    I dont know how those skars will sound overpowered. What kind of amp?

    so im not really sure if anyone on here would want one of these but they are rare and it is in perfect working order with both interchangeable inserts. but i do not have the removal tool sadly. but you can bend a wire hanger and make one... it is used and so mechanically its a 10/10, ive never had an issue with it, never overpowered, never abused. cosmetically i would have to give this woofer about 8/10 i noticed a slight scuffing of the rubber gasgeting on the front of the sub and the back of the magnet is a little scratched up(you can see in the pics).

    i have looked for a matching one for a few years, every so often never can find one that seems legit.

    i was thinking like 180+ shipping i will entertain trades/ offers.

    first pic the coloration around the surround is just water, i wiped down the sub before pics, it was a bit dusty from sitting around...

    Im just looking around for a new amp to power my daily driver. I really want a crescendo, DC 2k, or something comparable. Ive been talking to a lot of Vendors, Im just trying to see what kind of deals i can get. Not opposed to buying used if someone has something good. PM me

    No dealers, and I am sure that has not changed. They are a direct buy company, so no middle man and no dealer. You can check them out on CACO, but emailing and calling them direct may be the best option. Like I said in the other thread, (and this is an actual WTB section) if you need that superior always pick up your call or email immediately then Crescendo may not be your best route.

    Hey man, I actually got a hold of audioque today after about 10 calls, I finally got redirected to Digital designs office lol.

    You can't suggest is since you do not even know the price, going off of my price sheet for DC...yeah...

    OP has had a customer service issue with AQ, amp is floating somewhere, and he does not want to run AQ amps anymore. But...subs seem to be ok? :lol:

    What are the voicecoil configurations of the subs? Because if you have a D2 now...are you wanting 2000 watts at 2 ohms nominal or will you have two D4 and looking for 2000 at 1 ohm?

    Yeah, shying away from Their amps, but man, i do love my hdc3. I have D1 voice coils. so ill be running at 2ohms for about a week until my second HDC3 comes in.

    I had an AQ amp. But i need something to power a HDC3, soon to be 2 HDC3's. I have a 170amp alt, and an XS 5100 in under the hood, and a sprinter battery in the back. Give me you opinion on 2000watt amp under 450$

    I plan on running it to an btl n2 but im iffy on underpowering it. if all else fails ill just make a huge box :drink40:

    You will be plenty happy man, With that SAZ on that n2. Especially at 1ohm you will get a lot of power from that amp, enough to make the n2 bump! make sure you get DVC 2 to wire it down to one ohm. And have you looked into the new sp4 series by Fi yet? Those things look so beast

    buying 1 sp4 is cheaper than 2 BLs

    yup... but 2 18s have twice the cone area of 1 18...

    Get one Sp4 18 and over power it! And you will have more space unless you are planning on walling off your car or something then get the 2 BL's. But personally i would go with 1 sp4 any day over 2 SSD's. and it would be cheaper and you could make it loud if you over power it and put it in a proper box

    Ok guys, here is my plan. I plan on making an EPIC "Bassheads around the world" video.......but here is the catch. I am going to send this little Sony Cybershot camera, with 16gig card and charger, the same one i use for all my video's, out to someone i trust. I want that person to make a 1 minute video of anything system related he can think of. His own system, no matter how big or small.....a box he might be working on......some speakers sitting on the kitchen table, even bumping the hell out of your home system. Whatever! Then, you have to choose someone you trust with your life, someone you know for a FACT wont keep the camera and ruin it all. And they will do the same thing! Just make a video of whatever you want! Send the camera as far away as you possibly can so the video can be interesting! Once the card is full, the last person sends me the camera back and i edit up the most epic, bassheads video i can think of! You tell me who you are, plug your youtube channel in the video, and i will make sure to add that to the video (in text) so people can go check out your channel.

    The first person i would like to send this camera to is Twisted. I hope you guys think this is a great idea and participate! The only other thing really is, send it to someone who has at least 10 bucks to ship it on to the next guy.

    anyway what do you guys think? do i follow through with this idea or what? :popcorn: Worst case scenerio, i lose my camera to some scumbag and its all over. The camera is used so it wont be the end of the world......but i hope everyone knows SOMEONE they trust enough to do it! I have 102,000 subscribers on youtube so i think i can get you guys some extra views by participating. Even if you dont have a channel to promote, participate anyway!

  24. HELP! Choosing an amp.

    I'm trying to buy an amp that is around 1800-2500 watts rms x 1 @ 1 or 2 ohms. I have about $250 to spend. Amp I am interested in are sundown, audioque, audiopipe, kicker, mmats, usamps, dd, etc. If its not any of these brands then plz let me know what other brands u recommend. Thanks!

    For your price man audioque is the way to go... I swore i would never recommend them after their customer service gave me a hell of a time with a return, But their amps sound great for the price
