  1. i was gonna say, the light switch looking thing gives it the option to go back to the original text, img. tags, etc. Its been like that for a while now.

hey!!! yay it works lol it also puts the txt in notepad style format though... I guess we will see if it transfers into the actual text after you post

    edit - lol nope :P

  2. They beating now but there skipping beats and sound real scratchy

like I said more than likely either user error or hifonix amp. sounds like maybe it could be a short? if I'm off someone please set me straight, also check the power and ground wires when my subs started doing that my power wire had started to melt and fused to the terminal because of noobish attempt at jerry-rigged wiring... either way the point is it sounds like possibly sporatic power to the subs which to my memory is often caused by a short... look at all your power ground positive and negative wiring on both the amp and the subs and make sure none of them have loose wiring that's touching.

  3. Idk I still have all the components but I'm rdy to put it all on eBay I got amps CD players and subs all over my house but all I manage to get are mids and highs :/

I vote that is the fault of the hifonix amp not of the subs ? either that or simple user error... maybe missed connecting a wire completely and it came loose or something? I wouldn't just scrap everything and leave the scene just cuz you hooked up your subs and they didn't do anything, troubleshoot... make a thread asking about it with lots of details and lots of pictures and see if anyone here can help you figure out what happened... it's not the first time someone tried something new and stuff didn't work perfectly the first time.

  4. It does show up if you click on "view new content" at the top then choose "items I participated in"

same problem here, and I cant figure out how to do what your talking about

I think it means that you can see the content, as long as you actually posted or participated or liked every single post on the forum. If you don't participate in the thread, it's blank. If indeed that's the way to fix my inability to post in certain forums or view users content, I have ALOT of reading and posting to do. Post count, here I come!

I couldn't even see stuff that I was the OP on

  5. ok so right now I'm about to be just running 2200w from a diehard platinum marine battery under the hood and gna upgrade my big 3 and get a 270A alt from mechman. but I plan to eventually upgrade to maybe as much as 8kw out of a pair of SQ 3500s. at that point I'm sure a 270A alt and a single battery wouldn't be enough to run both of those amps. possibly not even one of them. how big a battery would I need to run 1 of these amps and how big for 2 of these amps?

I don't completely understand atm how the amp hours and stuff like that converts to be able to tell how much it would take to handle how much power yet that's why I'm asking.

    For 1, 1 D 3100, for 2 2 D3100 or 1 D7500 minimum, better 3 D3100 or more.

is that for if I add the batteries to the one I've already got under the hood?
