-
Yesterday I was in chat with maybe 6 other people then left and came right back and got an error message that the chat was full. 6:30 am today I get on and it still says chat is full... usually at this time of the morning there isn't even anyone in chat yet

I'm gna vote DDZs or some 9900s lol
-
apparently it started working this morning for a little bit then broke again
-
lol so apparently they sent it out to me but didn't tell me they were sending it... it just got here
-
ok thanks I was afraid of that was just crossing my fingers hoping that since the tweeters and the crossovers both are sold seperately that there might be a chance that I would be able to get the woofers seperately too and I just missed it somehow lol
-
is it possible to order speakers from a comp set without actually ordering a whole set? I want to get T2 5.25 comps but I have no need for any of the crossovers or half of the tweeters but I haven't seen any way to get just woofers.

I ordered a bulk pack of Damplifier Pro about a week ago and I still haven't heard anything about when it's coming or a tracking number or even that it's been processed or anything. I just checked my paypal and there is a charge for $244.40 from SS but I haven't seen any emails or anything yet.

Hi everybody, my name is Michael I'm 21 years old been a basshead even before I was born (seriously theres a video where I would start kickin inside my moms stomach everytime my dad played some 2 live crew and stopped whenever he paused the music lol) I don't have my own sound system because I don't want my dad to give it to me I prefer to work hard and earned the money to buy my own things so slowly but surely I'll get a sysytem of my own, with that said I been installing sound systems since I was little with my dads help I may not be some super expert but I know a bit. The reason I joined the page was to learn more and just meet more people that are bassheads and have lots of experience.....My other interest are Computers, Anime, Martial arts and Weight lifting

this forum isn't really an "Ask Steve" or something... there are lots of people in this forum that can help you with most anything you have questions about, Steve can't do it all.Hey I'm new, I really like subs and enjoy car modification. Hoping to Learn some new things, hopefully Steve can help me
With some Questions I have

welcome Nophix and SilveradoDeath looking forward to seeing some of the stuff each of you do with your rides

Also, how did you find the angles for that panel? What tools do you use? I suck ass at angles
they make protractors that are just 2 sticks on a swivel that will tell you what angle something is, then from there you can just cut that in half to get the angle of the cut.

dude this ride is really looking amazing!!! I might wind up once I do my build trying pulling out all the carpet that's currently in the trunk and do vinyl in the trunk instead of it just being a plain trunk with a box thrown in it. never done vinyl though so don't know for sure just yet we will see. your car looks sick though bro!!
-
dude I don't remember even seeing her hair fly like that in the videos with her and the Tahoe! that's awesome and the look on her face was priceless lol
-
dude that trunk with the plexi in and the amps in and everything looks sexy as hell can't wait to see more

this is Steve Meade... he doesn't forget stuff and have to backtrack he just waves his magic wand and everything starts to fall into place lol
I'm trying to save you some back tracking nobody wants to get done and find out "oh dang I should have done that when I had the chance". But go nuts and I'm excited to see what you do! Good lucknaww man, i think i will make the trunk look REAL nice and then leave the foam where you can see it. That was the plan, until i saw your post. LOL
Not painting it black i have other plans, but thanks for the advice. Before you give me any more advice on what i need to do, can ya let me finish first though? thanks!

You connect it somewhere down the line before you get to the amps. Run the RCA to the remote. Then run another one from the remote to the amp. Then when you get to the amp split the signal with a splitter so you can hook the one RCA to both amps
-
Actually, subs wired a certain way only impacts impedance, not amps. Amps only do what the subs tell them to.I thought when you strapped something it took whatever you wired to and cut the impedance in half anyway ? so if he wired to what would usually be 4 ohm it would end up being 2 ohm ? but hey multiple ppl said the RCA cable remote would work so who am I to disagree lol I just suggested the splitter cuz I figured the RCA remote would work a little differently than the regular amp remote isn't that remote usually either fine gain control or bass boost control depending on the amp? I would think the RCA one would wind up being almost more like a volume knob so I was just offering an alternative in case he wanted to keep the same functionality as the regular remote but just have it work for both amps
wasn't trying to dispute what anyone was saying or say anyone was wrong just offering an alternative that I thought of.
With the knob, No also. The Pac will be better and easier. Basically, as a wise man once said, 'They tie inline with your RCA's and attenuate the signal instead of adjusting amp settings.' Basically, it only adjust the signal that the rca send vs adjust the 'gain' like normal bass knobs do. If that makes sense???
okie dokie good to know. always good to learn something new

Hmm... If you can't/don't want to strap them for whatever reason... Idk for sure if this would work but you could try using a splitter?
-
If the amps are strappable you can just strap them and run the remote to the master
chat full?
