This is a lighter plastic paste.

Don't need this.

DA sander, 180 grit.

damn that does look real good. suprised no one else said anything yet. this is yours personally?
Not mine.
I do have a 2 door Blazer, but mine sits lower than this one does. This one only lays frame some.

Blocked that down smooth and packed up. It was time for "24" to be on.
-
Sanded that down..... no pics....... then added some filler over that.
-
-
Then I used a 36 grit Rol-Loc disc and prepped the surface for the liquid plastic.
Said plastic.
-
Screw it together at the flanges inside.
And then glue it together at the seams and flange.
-
Test fitting.
Since I was doing this alone, and it wasn't easy alone, I used the tape to mark where I liked it since it is 3 pieces. That way when I got it off, line the tape up and secure it together.

This is what you remove.

Gonna cut and install it here.

Opened up a box and this was inside.

Todays episode saw me fixing a hanging valance that was held up with drywall anchors.
I didn't take pics of them either.
But some homemade brackets and a few bolts has it fitting securely now.

when i wet sand i change paper more than when dry sand.
Are you using wet sanding paper?
If you use regular sanding paper, it will fall apart quickly.
-
Same thing. The principles are the same. Just have to apply them to what you are doing.
-
I should clarify on my Tips post that I dry sand with the 80 and the 150. Then I wet sand with the 220. Then I primer and wet sand the primer with 220, then 400.

Does the High Build part in the title of "High Build Primer Surfaces" mean Filler
Yes.
-
it does not keep it cleaner!!
What does it do then?
I do this on almost daily. It keeps the paper cleaner than if it was dry sanding.

I think these few things I have been researching will be a good additive to this thread.
