  1. with the voltage boost, with hot/cold effect what you put to the dial? say mine is 14.8v cold, 14.1v hot right now, if i set the dial to 14.5v hot, would that make it do 15.2v cold? Just dont want to hurt my OEM electrical stuff? anyone know what the highest voltage that is ok on OEM 1995 chevy stuff is?

I've heard to never charge over 15.6. Mine charges at 15.1 cold and truck is fine. It's a 2001 though.

  2. That would be a good one too.

For now, I just went into the full site on my phone, copied the url from the recent topics, and put it into my bookmarks. So whenever it opens up on the mobile skin, I just have to open the bookmarks and it brings me right to the recent topics

On my iphone on safari, if you click the little menu square at the top right there is a new content button if that's what youre talking about?

  3. The two key variables here is the larger speakers motor and suspension. If it has a very stiff spider pack designed to keep the cone under control at or above 1k it will restrict output on the driver at 250w. Whereas the smaller driver will have the correct motor and spiders to be most efficient at that power. If the big driver has a relatively soft spiderpack for a 1k driver it may perform closely with the smaller driver because the extra motorforce on the larger one will compensate for the stiffer setup.

So a subwoofer with a stiff spider pack that is underpowered is less efficient?

  4. Soon as we get some weather in the 50's it's going down. lol maybe 60.

You guys will have to help me on the led thing. I want to find a way to have the led's pulse to the music. Is there any way to do it?

I am also trying to create an led system that adjust with the intensity of the bass. Back in the day my dad used a shock sensor off an alarm to turn the LEDs on and off, but I am thinking about using a MOSFET transitor and use a y-splitter off one RCA and strip the RCA to use its signal. The shock sensor system is a lot easier and I'm not sure if the RCA idea works. But as of now I'm going to experiment with it. You can pm me if you have any questions.

  5. I feel ya bro, I'm 17 and a junior. I found one things that's normally gets a conversation going, music, almost everyone enjoys it and listens to it. Sometimes you listen to completely different stuff, but it still starts the conversation. Honestly, I'm not good looking at all, but I'm polite, funny and outgoing. Girls like that kind of stuff, especially when you're confident in yourself. There is a difference between cocky and confident and you gotta watch that. If you're humble that gets rid of cockiness. When you show people you're truck you can say "yeah I built this" and show your pride, just don't be like "this is the best truck here." Also I don't know how big your high school is, but if people know you by your truck, offer them rides home and to the store and what not. That shows the confidence. Hope this helps.
