  1. Got my Soundstream SC-6T component speakers from Nate today!

Everything came exactly as described! Anything that had been damaged due to prior installation was indeed in the condition Nate described. Excellent response times as well. When everything did get here it was all packaged nice and safe, nothing rattling around when we received it, and that box was packaged like crazy!

The thing that really made this transaction worthwhile was that there was an issue with shipping due to UPS being morons, anyways, I informed him and within a half hour everything was resolved and had my products the very next day. If I do ever get the opportunity to do business again with Nate, I will not hesitate.

  2. This was my first purchase from someone on this forum and it was an excellent experience!

To begin, I have never used a paypal account before so I created it, and Larry helped me to figure out how to send the money. While this was going on he found another product that he thought he would recommend to me, which if it had been something I could have used more than what I intended to buy I would have jumped on it! So moral of this, recommended another product he thought I might need, and informative about the process.

Secondly, there was constant communication between us. I never felt like I would be ripped off from my money, he was great to talk to as well, very personable.

Third, products arrived within one week, actually came faster than I expected! Everything was packaged in a manner I saw fit. Also, the products came as he described in his original for sale post.

In conclusion, if you have the opportunity to buy from Larrys95civic, I definitely recommend you to do so. He's a great guy and I'm glad that my first buying experience on this forum was with him!

  3. Hello everyone!

I'm currently about to do the big three upgrade and I have two questions.

    1. Would it be smart to do two runs of the big three upgrade or would this just be wasted wire? Basically two runs of positive alternator to positive battery, two grounds from the negative battery terminal to engine block, and two grounds from the negative terminal on the battery to the chassis.

    2. Do I really need an inline fuse from the alternator to the battery? I've read a lot about it but my alternator can only put out 140 amps at maximum output.

If I do not need to do the big three upgrade twice, would it be safe to run two runs of 0 gauge wire to a distribution block to the back and then from the other side of the distribution block a run of 4 gauge wire to my amplifier with the inline fuse in that wire? The reason I ask this is because a lot of owners of the Hifonics HFi2000D amplifier I'm buying complain of current draw so I figure running the two runs of 0 gauge to this distribution block (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_16823_Stinger-SPD814-Gold.html) and then doing a short run of 4 gauge with the 200 amp inline fuse from the distribution block to the amplifier would help with the current draw.

Thanks for any and all help!
