Also if you decide to use spray foam ( expanding ) be careful how much you use under the roof bows. If you use to much it will expand too far and will destroy the welds.

Carpet will not help. Seeing this makes me realize how bad I need to deaden my entire vehicle. I have already broken 2 roof supports at the welds as well as numerous other crap lol. My hoe's roof flex's so bad it looks like it is breathing. Nice vid btw.

my box is tuned to 35hz per Rusty's recommendation...my Jeep's resonant frequency is 47hz..and my spl peaked at the high 40s to 50hz range...I am sure I could pull higher db's if I tuned my box to something in the mid 40s but then I dont think I would like the overall sound...I was never really building the box for numbers
just giving you an idea of what happened with my setup
^ this, Same here. I am tuned to 29 hz but my peak is 40hz sealed. I was not going for numbers on my build either , but I happend to luck out and still break 50's off only 4k

You could just get a recone if you blow one, it would save you money more than likely
^ this. recone's are way less expensive than buying a replacement or spare sub.

No. that is not how you figure out cone coverage. I would do the 3 15's.The three 15"s will have more cone area, only way is to try it and find out..
HOW DO THEY HAVE MORE CONE AREA,,, 45 INCHES VS 48 INCHES OF CONE RITE??????

I would not dare roll my rear windows down on the 18hz song. If my front ones move that much the back ones will move 4x more. I could see it happening to Exo's truck. He is a cool honest guy . Along with Richard and Joe. My front ones do not move that much on 24hz songs but the rear ones move a shit ton.

Dammit ! I got to page 3 then my laptop battery died. Made it 2 more pages and my phone died. Had to fire up my pc which has not been turned on for 4+ years to finish lol. Good stuff Rusty , I really really really really really really really really want to hear this beast !!!
