I would say check your ground on the amp. Make sure you have bare metal where it is grounded. Also what head unit do you have?

Bought an AQ 2200D amp from him. Great communication and a nice guy to deal with. Would buy from again. Amp was just as described and in perfect condition when arrived. Double boxed with plenty of packing. Thanks for the good deal!

Great company! Shipping is super fast compared to other places ive bought from.

Glad you found the problem.

I would try and find an amp to test In place of yours. If it plays fine you know you have a bad amp.

To run at .5 ohm you will need beefy electrical. Be warned however that .5 ohm will void all warranties with most manufacturers and will cause more heat. So be sure if you try it that you can properly feed the amp with electricity and keep it cool.

By chance do you have a pioneer head unit?

Just bought 2 DC XL 15's from him and everything went smooth. Picked up in person. Everything was just as described. Was on time and great person to deal with. Would recommend and buy from again. Thanks for the great subs!

Glad to help and good luck!

Bridge channels 1 and 2 on the 4 channel amp and plug to left speaker. Bridge 3 and 4 channel and plug to right speaker. Use RCA splitter and put red RCA to both plugs for channels 3 and 4. Use another RCA splitter and put white RCA to both plugs for channels 1 and 2. This will give you true left and right with decent power out of the amp.

If your box is sized properly then you shouldn't need to invert them unless u just like the looks of it

Not sure exact problem but would doubt the remote wire could cause anything. To be sure, next time it does it use a DMM (Digital Multi Meter) on the amp and make sure the power and remote both have 12+ volts going to them. Also i would check my ground wire to make sure it has a good connection with bare metal.

I loved that amp when i had it. Just right with some p1 10's!

Why do you suggest a center port, what are its advantages over an L port?
Mainly asthetics. I think boxes look better when two subs have a centered port. Thats why i suggested that as only an opinion.

So I'm going to be building a box for 2 AQ 12's. Should I do separate chambers or a shared chamber? I was thinking about tuning it around 33-35hz and about 1.75 cubes per sub. I'm not going for pure spl I just want an all around good sounding system. They'll be powered by an AQ 1200D. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Looks good so far on paper. My only suggestion would be to stick to their 16 in^2 of port area per cubic ft rule or slightly more. Im using the hdc3 15's tuned to 38hz and they get loud. i think you will be satisfied wtih 33-35hz tune. Should still get plenty loud and stay musical. And they can use a shared chamber preferably port in center IMO.

That amp is a monoblock. It cannot be bridged as there is only 1 channel of operation. And yes level is the same thing as gain.
