  1. just seen this vid on his facebook or maybe it was on youtube.. This thing looks like it sounds nasty!! Wish singer would just tell me to bring my xplorer to him so he can build me a box..Raden is so lucky to live so close to him. Thinkin i should move to ohio lol

who ever this guy is where at in ohio im bout to do a wall and i went to local shop but price is pretty steep and idk how there work is so id like to know where this guys at maybe he will build it for me a lil cheaper hmm?

  2. ya but if i do that i wont get what i would want out of it even though its basically brand new so really to sell it and buy a d2 i would lose money i could just save for a aq2200 and eventually get another sub which is what im thinkin right now....just savin money sucks when you got so much shit to pay off

  3. ya i started thinkin that its just i hate tryin to save up lol but i guess i got to, guess i gotta keep runnin my ap 1500-FAIL for awhile lol oh well gotta pay to play i guess

  4. I ran an aq1200 .5 ohm daily but i had the electrical to back it up. I had an upgraded 220 amp alt and two HC600s in the rear with 2 runs of zero gauge. I so little too know voltage drop while driving and a little bit more drop when just idling. So if you are planning on keeping this setup for a while I would just get a second batt or two and call it good.

i got stock atl atm and only 1 run of 0 gauge but this is still sketchin me out lol so with stock alt and 2 batts my volt should stay decent without to much drop?

  5. Just because you saw a guy on you tube running is amp at .5 doesn't mean its ok to run at .5 ohms.

fyi didnt see someone running this at .5 im looking for any amp in my price range that will give me the power i want at .5 or 2, so ya hop off

  6. i got did big 3 no batteries as of now and i know i really dont want to run at .5 i just cant find a decent at amp to run at 2 ohms that will give me the power i want which is why this is skechtin me out lol

  7. ive seen plenty be ran at .5

so your saying i can run this at .5 for daily with little to no problems? need to know cause if not ill wait lil more and get a crescendo 2k just need amp right now

  8. well the 2.2k is lil more than i can spend right now and i dont plan on gettin another 18 for a few months so basically just tryin to find something to give around 2k or so but dont got money to buy amps to wire down to 2 ohm atm to power it so i need amp that does .5. and i did i hit d1 like a moron lol oh well i guess

  9. I honestly think 4^3 net would be fine, but would tune to 36hz. The motor and suspension allow it to play well below tuning with no issues, but it isn't a low end sub. Tuning to 36-37 should allow you to play a much wider range of frequencies with strength.

so basically you mean 4 cubes and tune to 36 would be the best?

  10. tuning is too low. try around 37hz (what they recommend) and 3.5 cubes

i dont really have experience with AQ woofers so dont quote me as far as the box size goes

alright but ive been told aq's like big boxes and the tunnin people said the hdc's should been tuned like that but someone told me that 33 would be about right for sdc but im really not sure.

whos "someone". if you want a direct answer, email mike at aq or call them

someone on forum lol forget name just going by what i was told which is why im asking to make sure im doing this right but ya ill call aq and see what they say.

  11. 4^3 gross or net?

dont use big words lol just kidding but i really not sure what they mean lmao but its 4 cubes on inside w/ displacements

with displacements...you mean after you subtract the displacement of the port and sub and bracing? 4cuft after you subtract all that stuff? or 4 before you subtract

4 after you subtract all that
