  1. ok cooL thanks you guys you definitely helped me alot the first thing ill do is take the capacitor out and replace with a battery then ill call mechman or dc or stinger and ask them about an alternator once again thanks guys
  2. I went on mechman and all they had for mine was a 6g upgrade it was like 220 amp
  3. I have a 3g alternator he said 240 is the biggest they can make it, so even if I put more batteries that alternator won't be enough?
  4. Yea 4800 rms is what hifonics says maybe a little less if there underrated but def around there, so would a battery or two in the back help?

  6. I set my gains by ear, should I take the cap out and run 2 runs of zero guage from battery to amp?
  7. My amps and capacitor are grounded to the body I took the carpet up sanded the metal my gains are about half way up
  8. He said he hooked up and it was at like 200 at idle.. Is there any way I can check my alternator?
  9. I did the big 3 and I have 0 gauge running to the back all grounds are good and I had an alternator shop build me the alternator he put a smaller pulley on it to help me get more amps at idle

Hello everyone I have a question I have 2 hifonics 2000d going to 2 12 in Memphis mojos and a hifonics 800 rms amp going to dd components..i was having really bad power drainage issues so I got a capacitor...which didn't do shit lol so I got a kinetik hc2000 battery under the hood that helped a little then I replaced my 90 amp alternator and had a 240amp built and that helped a little more but still I at idle almost instantly as I turn it up I go from 15 volts down to 11 sometimes 10 volts ...i was wondering what else I could do to help my power from draining so fast? Thanks

  12. some Kid I know started a mobile audio business baught stickers for his truck and everything..but wad a noob to car audio. He had RCA wires going from a 4 channel to a monoblock sub amp, I told him that's the wrong way and I got a text a day later saying my subs sound like shit do rca's really matter that much?

  14. I already bought it I paid $130.. I know I could build a sealed box but for some reason I don't think I could build a ported one idk something about building the port inside seems kinda hard

  17. Hey everyone I was wondering if someone could help I just got 2 12in Memphis mojos and put them in a 3.70 cubic ft ported box...and im almost positive that its too small, I was wondering if someone knew the box size I should be running?

Hello everyone im new to the site and i have a question i have a hifonics 2000d and when i got it it drained the shit out of my truck so i did the big 3 got a capacitor and i just recently got a kinetick hc2000 battery. when im driving my voltage if fine but when i stop at a red light my meter drops all the way down, i was wondering if someone could help me out with my drainige issue or help me with what i need.
