I have 2 15" L7s, and a zx2500. I've blown these l7s THREE times. Is the zx2500 too much power to run to them when they're in a 9^3 box, tuned to 31hz? Everytime i play them, the gain is on the 3rd tick (2 ticks before half) and bass boost around +9db (out of 18db).. They STINK terribly, and move so fucking much. They're moving atleast 2-3 inches.. The recent replacements spider ripped, and I'm going to glue it back on.. But, should i sell them? Or just find a smaller amp? I have upgraded electrical, so i know im getting the full power outta this amp.. Heres a pic of the box..

its the shop that insisted porting it through the side was the best idea because the box was so close to the back hatch to port it towards the hatch. but i just took the sub out and i think i figured out what is wrong, the spider i guess? (the yellow thing under the wiring terminals) is ripped and flaps when the sub moves. is it possible to glue that back or is it shot? -

i never really got that. if it's dirty power then why do they even bother to put it on the amp? and the subs arent loud at all without it. would it be okay to up the gain to make up for no bass boost? -

okay so i have 2 15" l7s on a zx2500, big 3, new alt and 2 batts. i've blown 2 of these l7s so far and im on my third. and its already starting to fuck up. today is the 2nd time ive played it. ive played it for about 4-5 hours. i started out with the gain all the way down and bass boost all the way down.. and increased it about every hour.. they've stunk the whole time. but the thing is the original 2 i had its always been the right woofer thats blown. the left hasnt gave any problems at all. but anyway, right now i just got done playing. my gain is sitting around 1/3 and bass boost just a tad over +9db (half way). the port smells terrible, and now when the subs arent playing.. if i pull up on the right one it makes a weird popping noise, like if something is being disconnected from something kinda? it doesnt make that noise when i push down on it. id love to know why these subs keep fucking up on me? help please?

No, not too many factors? I mean, it shouldn't be too hard to say if 150 db is possible with 2 walled 18s and 4000 rms?
-
It says 2200 rms @ 1 ohm. & Nah, it'd be a daily driver so i'd be playing with the windows down.

Anyone think it'd be possible to do a 150 on music with 2 18" american bass HDs and 2 american bass vfl 120.1s? With the subs walled and tuned around 33hz? The car is an suv style car..
