  1. In, want to check this daily. I am hoping for at least 20 15s or 16 18s etc. Because that would be brutal as hell, move massive amounts of air, and still get crazy numbers. Totally tap out worthy. But I'm not being realistic. Whatever happens, even if it was running some Alpine Type Rs, this build would still be retarded somehow.. Just sad because they would be Type Rs..

  2. anything from mechman, dc power, singer, ohio

also there is a guy selling 2 12 Fi Q's on here. Probably cheaper than new

I saw them, it's an okay deal but I would rather just buy them new with a few of the options.. Plus my car is a blue/black scheme and there's no chrome on it etc so those dust caps.. Just nah lol..

  3. Right now I'm only running a Rockford Punch 400.4 and a Kicker ZX750.1 and I want some more bass. Nothing too crazy, but more than enough to have some fun with.

I'm going to be ordering two FI Q 12s, fully loaded and a Hifonics ZRX3000.1D to power them. I am currently running stock electrical with a optimia yellow top and a 1 ferad cap that I got for free and use for the voltage meter on it. Should I upgrade my alt and go from my current 2gauge wiring to 0/1?

Before I order the subs should I get them in dual 1 ohm or dual 2 ohm? Going to be running the amp at 1ohm of course.

  4. If you would like, I can create a design for 4 ported subs and show you how bad ass it'd look.

Sure, I would love to see what you've got in mind. My only restraints are that the box be 36" wide, less than 20" tall, and less than 45" long overall. 2 cubic feet is ideal for internal volume.

  5. That's that I had planned on. The ported two would be under hatch with the ports facing the back. Then the sealed box closer to the back of the front seats. Here are two pics of the box in sketchup. The first pic is of the box from the back of the car, the second from the front of the car.

  6. I currently have two 12" Kenwoods in a sealed box at 500rms each. The system is in a Tiburon and I recently removed my rear seats and essentially made the entire back area into a flat surface. With the extra room I want to add in two more 12"s. I would be using the exact same subs and another identical amp for the addition. What I wanted to do was build a new ported box for two of the subs and then another sealed box for the other two. I want to keep nice tight bass that I have with the sealed box, but also have more punch and pressure like I would have with a ported box.
