Bought his JBL 4 channel amp from him a couple weeks ago. A++++ seller! Would definitely do business with him again. Didn't have a paypal account, so I sent him a money order. Very trust worthy guy right here! Communicated with him through email and text messaging, and the amp showed up at my door in flawless condition. Thanks Nightshade!

Brutal! The time is ticking until the passenger door falls off or the window breaks.

Replacing the windshield wiper motor isn't hard at all. Took me about 5-10 minutes to replace the one in my T-Bird, and I think I paid like $40 for it. Try Google our get yourself a Chilton book. Definitely comes in handy in case you have any other problems.

I have the 205W its not the most high end but it does a great job I like using it more than my dads 765T and its cheaperx2 I have just the 205 and it works great! plus you can personalize it by downloading different icons for your car on the screen and such. i like mine. you dont need an expencive one to get you somewhere. Mine hasnt taken me on any wrong routes or anything. works great.
Not bad either. Looks like Garmin might be the brand to go with. Any other suggestions?

Not too bad. Definitely below my price range :

As has already been said, I would NOT go after that alternator unless I had a brand new DC Power unit to replace it with while it was apart. Too many labor hours to do anything else.
Just FYI, here are the steps:
Disconnect the battery. Remove the belt.
Remove the powersteering hose bracket from the alternator bolt. Remove the alternator bolt.
Remove the right front wheel & tire. Remove the inner fender. Remove the alternator splash shield.
Remove the torque convertor inspection cover. Install the flywheel holding tool (P/N 303-544). You must remove the crankshaft pulley & bolt. Caution! the pulley is moulded composite, and the bolt is part of it. The bolt is Left-Hand thread. Be careful removing this assembly, it is not cheap.
Disconnect & remove the crankshaft sensor & oxygen sensor to make room.
You can now lower the alternator to disconnect the B+ & regulator wires.
The re-install is simple - just do everything above in reverse... LOL
An all day job for the average DIY mechanic, the holding tool should be available at AutoZone or similar stores as a loan tool.
Plan ahead, and order an HO alternator from Robbie @ DC Power. Module installs can be done at the fuse block in this car, but you need to tell us so we can do a special instruction sheet.

Holy crap! Dats a lot of stuff to remove for a big 3 upgrade. Definitely worth installing a new alt while your down there.

I'm just starting to look at Portable GPS units, but I was wondering if you guys can give me some suggestions? Price range is from $250-$350. Would like something that is user-friendly in case my wife needs to use it, and it has to have at least a 4.3" screen or bigger. Thanks.
