im just going to build a ported box inside of my trunk. Box Design H- 17 W- 38 D- 25, Port height- 15.5 port width- 4.5 port length- 19 physical port length- 18.25. sub displacment is .34, bracing displacment .2. the box is right a 6.05 after everything is said and done. its tuned at 33hz. what would be the cut sheet cause torres cut sheet is confusing. It says the front peice is 38 wide but shouldnt it be 32.75? cause the port is 4.5 wide and the would would be .75? juat need a little help on the cut sheet. thatnks huys.!

i dont think i would have limited deep bass. its a sundown lol. it will be in a sealed box to sundowns specs. i think it shouldnt hurt anything? but ik i am giving up some spl but i alreay know that.

I order 2 sa-15's and i really need help getting this box right. The max box specs are 39 wide 17.25 width and 17.25 depth. On a ported enclosure that would put me at 4.6xx cubs without displacement. i called sundown and they said i can put them in a sealed enclosure with no problems. So with those specs above on a sealed enclosure that would put me at about 5.2xx cubs and thats what they recommend. the amp i will be using wll either be a hifionics 2100 or a crescendo bc2000d. i just want to see what you guys think would be better or what you guys would recommend cause i know alot of you guys have alot of knowledge at things like this. This would be my first box build.

The trunk size is 39 wide 17 depth and 30+ long. I'm pretty sure its big enough for a ported box. I just need a box design if some one can help

Ok im going to look for a battery wensday when i get the money. Ill remove the ground and put the ground to the floorboard. Best place i know to put it.

What do you mean by clipping?? I have the ground to the top of the trunck right under where my 6x9 are.? is that bad?

where can i get a good agm battery for cheap? Money is tight right now.

What Should i upgrade first? Upgrade ur wiring to 0 gauge, get an extra battery and look at a mechman or dc alternator. Im running 2 gauge wiring throgh the whole car. and 0 gauge for the big 3. You think i should just get a bigger battery for the car period.?

I have a Audiopipe 18001d and everytime i have my volume up loud it will go in protect mode then come back on within seconds. I have to turn the bass nob down a little for it not to do it, but i bought it to bang, not bang a little bit, you guys understand. But I had a capacitor hooked up and at idle im at 14.4 and when its poundin it drops down in low 10s and hi 9's and the capacitor say "low" where its supposed to read the volts. IDK if this hay anything to do with it, But im just letting you guys know what my setup is doing. The slightest help will be very apperciated. Thanks guys, David

I have 2 15's in there now. I had a ported box in there before but took it out and sold it cause my amp didnt have a subsonic filter to tune the port. Now that i have a amp that has a subsonic filter on it im looking to build a ported box just looking for a little help.

I'm looking to build a box for my subs. I want the box ported and I'm looking for spl. I mean I want the box to be loud. LOL. This will be my first time doing this so bare with me here.. the Box will be going in a 97 grand am. The space I have to work with is 38 width 17 height and 17-19 depth. I'm a noon at this LOL. This is a great website and I know you guys can tag along and help me. But as of right now I have a sealed box hittin 143.1 on the window. First time I metered it. Good? Thanks guys David
