  1. Got Tired of BS experiment box so I made one. I also came across a pioneer amp for my mids and highs. At the same time I want to upgrade

my electrical to handle my future plans as well as what I have going now. Ive started gathering all my Crap :-) Pics coming as soon as I fig out how to upload pics Im in the process of ripping everything out..

  2. In the previous video that was a modified R/T box. 2 punch p300.1's 4ga run stock batt & alt Lanzar capacitor :sigh: pioneer head & factory components.

In this video I have a few goodies from Kinetik ps happily sold that Lanzar stuff. **Playing with a vented atrend box that had some Memphis C3d4's

I had to cut if half to fit into my little Honda Prelude trunk. = it had a nice sound to it.

  3. Ok I know its been a while = life crap. But in my spare time when I wasn't following Steve on the Lex build, I was researching boxes and doing a little

experimenting with ported/vented boxes. Before you read any further this is not a extreme 58,090 watt build, just a nice smooth upgrade for the daily ps

with the $ and supplies I have available. Here's a video of me when I was sealed.

  4. @ skittles thanks and i bet someone has learned from this topic @ smalltruk the 35 seconds lol I will pay you when i see you haha and I want demos too. no sarcasm Just a random thought relax. this topic inspired me to do more research and I learned more. the reason i posted is because Ive heard from so called sound masters they do and they dont. and we argued this topic since the 90s. i have one Everyone else thanks for the input = smooth. I can see some real sound kings here go smd

  5. Ive seen a few installs that have both a capacitor and a extra battery in the trunk. They say batteries such as kinetics hold as much power as a 100 - 200 farad capacitor.?. So why have a funky lil off brand 1.5 farad cap next to an extra batt? SMH and everything shares the same little ground. Personally I think its for cosmetics the guy was running about 2k RMS.

  6. @ SnowDrifter and Joe X. Thanks Much :-) I bull shit you not, I have 2 in a sealed box and they sound surprisingly good @ 1.2 cube per sub. decent flex, nice range. Went and bought my sheet of 3/4 and now I cant wait to get started. Smh gotta save for the ports now ahh.

  7. I like, I like. I have 2 hx2s, My bad about those dims. I have a bunch of ideas wrote down on flash cards & i gave the wrong one lbs. dims = W30.25 H13 D26 I figured 3.94 cubic ft minus the space from the subs. What do you think

  8. Whats this Funky stuff Im hearing about Funky Pups. I would never get them but curious to the hype? They look like a cheap speaker called super pros. Ps I know this prob. is not the 1st time this topic has come up lol. Another Ps im a noob here on SMD. My name is Vell and im a wooferhead, is good to see other wooferheads from fresh to masters. Go SMD.com

  9. Subject 12'' Punch Hx2 should I port them or keep them in my sealed box. My problem has always been trunk space, I own a Honda and well you already know. My current system sounds decent, the box is chambered 1 cubic ft. per sub But I know there can be more shake. Oh and Ps if I do decide to port = im on a tight budget what so you think about 4'' PVC for the mean time. im thinking port noise
