  1. By going 44 wide it just looks like a generic prefab thrown in the back. By "squeezing" it in and making it the correct width it will look like a custom box that was actually made for your vehicle.

    yes...but not anytime soon.

Sounds good man, your the expert :D

I want to start the build next saturday so I'll keep it open to anybody that would be kind enough to throw up a design :)

  2. Alright well since I'm new to box design (and higher-end car audio at that) I need some advice and design on what route to take with my box design.

The box will be in the back of my 2001 Navigator and its for 1 18" DC Lvl4. My Max hight is 20" and my max width is about 44" length isn't much of a factor.

I would prefer the sub/slot port to be facing back and I want the tuning to be daily that hits hard across the whole band.

Any/all advice on how to go about this as well as bracing/actual construction please chime in :)

  3. I'm selling my 2001 Lincoln Navigator. It is currently upgraded with the Dual XDVD8281 DVD radio head unit and is sitting on 24" Vagare Chrome wheels It has 122,000 miles and I am only the second owner. I bought the car from Las Vegas, NV where it spent most of its life. Even though the truck has some miles on it, it shows no sign of stopping what-so-ever. Not a spot of rust ANYWARE due to it being a western car. I also believe the underbody has been sprayed to resist rust. Never drivien in snow/salt! There are some minor scratches on the passanger side of the car but nothing major. Feel free to e-mail me any and all questions

I found somthing I wnat/NEED at another dealership and I'm just trying to break even on what I payed for the car including tax/licensing
