  1. with both the full size and the mid size trucks you have about the same weight and wind resistance. differace with a larger displacement engine is better torque to get that beast moving and less revs at highwat speed. that will give better mpg if left stock with stock tires. if it is 4x4 then there will be more rolling resistance on the drivetrain so that will make the mpg worse. also larger tirer etc.

    24's dont help either :P

Im lucky enoguh that my trucks RWD but its still a tank.

And yes, I'm from the Chicago area :D

As many have asked here, I hope that I'm ever out in cali ill be able to meet you and see these monstors in person.

Thanks for starting the car stereo mod-bug for me!!

  3. well im a forgetfull kind of guy and im thinkin i will accidently leave it in first gear one day and decide its cold out, use the remote start and get into a car crash when im not even in the car!

I brought that up when I was getting mine installed.

My friend Mike at Xtreme Car Audio said that if it was a manual he was installing in, he could put a sensor on it that detects whenever the car is in gear. Therefore, it will not start if its in gear.
