  1. Sorry about the lag time, 96SS!

Good question! We currently only ship via USPS to APO military addresses. The shipping is not a flat rate, but is based on the distance, size and weight of the package. If you would like to estimate the shipping costs to your location, you may add the items to your cart and enter the zip code of your APO. If you have any trouble estimating theses costs, you may give us a call (toll free) and any one of our team members would be happy to get you those prices.

Is there anything else I may help you with?

  2. You need ring terminals and heat shrink tubing. When I replaced the power/ground under my hood I picked up 5 packages of Monster ring terminals with included heat shrink and ended up with a couple extra. They worked great and my 4awg wouldn't budge even if you tugged on it. If you have any 4awg cable laying around, that's my recommendation.

If you prefer to use your 1/0 under the hood, pick up some heavy duty ring terminals from the local hardware store, and grab some heat shrink. The Xscorpion stuff is legit ;]

  6. Thanks harry. So would u recommend running without the bass knob? I listen to alot of rap and quite a bit hits below 30hz

I personally am a fan of bass knobs, but in this case I threw it back in the box and use the settings on my receiver now. Once you get the amp installed I would play around with the bass knob plugged in and not plugged in to find your preference.

I'm thinkinf about buying a Hifonics Brutus. When you get it in could u do pros and cons of it? I haven't heard too many bad things about it.

    My experience with the Brutus:

Pros - produces very close to rated power, very stable, has operated at a .5ohm load for a quick minute without blowing, amp protect works very well when a speaker blows or if there are wiring issues.

Cons - induces slight distortion around 1500+ watts rms during operation, fins are sharp (cut myself once), angled 2awg +/- input makes things a little tricky, bass knob cuts the high pass at 30hz.

    Just my 2c. :]

Thanks man I have my subs wired down to 2 ohm and the BRZ1700.1 (what I was looking at buying) is 1200 rms at 2 ohm. Will this make it distorted since it is a 1700 watt amp?

1200 watts leaves plenty of headroom on that amp, there shouldn't be any distortion at that level so long as your input voltage is set correctly.

    --- Xscorpion PW0.50R

Ain't no better way to drive around than with 100 amps of power flowing under your feet. If you're into BIG power and BIG sound, this 50 foot spool of 1/0 gauge OFC should do you justice. Give your amplifiers what they need with this red power or ground cable for only $169.99.

  10. I had my HPF turned the wrong direction on the amp. I use my headunit to tune everything (125hz HPF), but on the amp it was turned the other direction so everything was filtered out lol!

It's too confusing when amps have philips head knobs instead of ones with a line or arrow. So annoying!

I haven't screw down those speakers yet or even applied any deadening. The rear speakers look clean because of the stock black cover thing haha.

Do you get a lot of vibration in your rear deck without the deadening?

It's not often you get a new guy in the office, but when you do, try not to back up over him with your office chair. To prevent this, our Daily Deal will allow you to see behind you so you don't crush anyone you shouldn't. While great for high tech office chairs, this works for vehicles as well.

  13. Hey KiKaZz74,

The Rockford and the Xscorpion products are out of stock, and it does't look as though we will be getting any more of them in. I can however recommend some other good products. For the Rockford RCA's, you could go with the Monster Cable I101 XLN 2C-3M. For the Xscorpion, I recommend going with the Xscorpion ANL1010G. We actually have one cut of the Kicker 09PWB0-20FT cable still left in our warehouse (even though it says out of stock), but you should probably order pretty quick if you're looking to grab that last one.

If you have any questions about these products, or any others that may be out of stock please feel free to let me know!
