-
wow thanks i couldnt find it
-
good things u tell and would i use the same liquid nail to glue wood to the side of my car meaning inside for example if i wanted to mount a amp to the side wall in the trunk?
-
ok thanks I have to start building my box soon and needed to know what kinda do you use
-
any name brand that you would recommend?
-
wanna know what u guys use?
-
what kind of caddy?
never mind just ride it!

CCA has nothing to do with multiple battery set ups. The only reason you would run an isolator is if you were gonna play with the car OFF and wanted the system to NOT pull from the starting battery so you could START the car after playing with the car off. ORRR, if you were running a flooded lead acid battery along with an AGM battery. Just get a battery that FITS your battery tray, and satifies the cranking amps required of your Caddy. Its that simple dude.
ok thanks

ok just one more last time so if i have a 800 CCA batt in front i could put any CCA batt in the rear with out a isolator or do i need the same CCA as the front which i might just do..

umm ok so the car would only start with the first one? idk but ok thanks
-
yheaa because i want to get a d1400 under my hood (back seat in a cadillac) and a D3400 in the trunk can i do so even with the CCA be different?
-
do the CCA matter on the second batt?
-
ok im gonna get a second batt but do i need a isolator if i wire them parallel and if i wire them parallel do they have to be the same CCA?
-
Yes. Thats what a battery isolator does. Allows power into the battery (from the alt, thru the main, into the 2nd) but doesn't allow power to go from the 2nd to the main.
really? so when i start the car it only start with the first one?
Nope it could be a billion, doesn't matter loldoes the second one have to be in the same CCA zone?ok this is were it gets messy when it come to batts because every one tells me i dont need a isolator is i wiring them parallel??
-
Or this bad boy here.
i think if i put that in my car it will catch on fire lol
-
does the second one have to be in the same CCA zone?
Nope

I'd get a xs power d1200 or whatever fits in your battery tray. Then a d3400 out back to your amp.
soo this would be perfect then http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_38723_XS-Power-D1200.html

Missed that post.

hey thanks for the help i dont have my car with me to see (getiing painted) but i found some thing online about it... ok so if i have the second batt in the rear wouldn't the car start with both or just the first one? kinda confused on how that would work?
-
