  1. uhhhm just for clarity sake no wire is "cea" compliant what you want is 8gauge awg (those three letters mean your not getting bullshitted...usually). also im taking a shot in the dark here and assuming the wire is cca (copper clad aluminum) and you probably did that math assuming its all copper so id check that because cca cant handle as much as ofc (oxygen free copper aka pure fuckin copper). also id say do it right the first time running and re running wire is a pain in the ass and its better to not try to cause a fire your first go round just sayin

  2. if you went to a shop and asked if they could install a pair of door speakers you already had (didnt buy from them) and they said no it must be a new purchase would you be fucking on here asking this. the hell is wrong with people cant see past a little slimeball sales scheme these days. And for simplicity sake yes as long as all your batterys are in working order and the same shit then you can run them new or used fuck do you people need to be bottle fed

  3. for a 1k budget id do something like this

    http://www.audiosavings.com/products/In-Dash-CD-Receiver-and-Monitor/JVC-KD-X40-1-Din-Digital-In-Dash-Car-Stereo-Receiver-w--iPod-PandoraUsb-Drive/KD-X40---PNY8GB.aspx (headunit)

    http://www.audiosavings.com/products/6.5-and-6.75-Car-Speakers/Cadence-CS2.65K-6.5%E2%80%9D-2-Way-240-Watt-Component-Speakers-w--Aluminum-Voice-Coils/CS2.65K.aspx (6.5 comps)

http://www.audiosavings.com/products/Website/Pair-Pioneer-TS-A6974R-6x9-500-Watt-3-Way-Car-Stereo-Speakers/TS-A6974R.aspx (6x9's optional i wouldnt even add them though)

    http://www.audiosavings.com/products/10-Inch-Car-Subwoofer/2)-Cadence-S2-Series-S2W10-D4-10-2400-Watt-Dual-4-Ohm-Car-Audio-Subwoofers-Subs/(2)+S2W10-D4.aspx (subs)

    http://www.audiosavings.com/products/Car-Amplifiers/MB-Quart-ONX4.60-480-Watt-RMS-4-Channel-Car-Audio-Amplifier--4-Gauge-Amp-Kit/ONX4.60---WK42.aspx(4 channel amp)

    http://www.amazon.com/AUDIOPIPE-APSM-1300-2000W-Audio-Amplifier/dp/B004KA81AW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1341123890&sr=8-2&keywords=audiopipe+apsm-1500 (sub amp)

all that brings you to a total of 670.64 leaving plenty for things like wiring and the box, maybe a little deadener if he wants now if he wants to shoot for more of an sq system id do this for a 1k budget

    http://www.amazon.com/Clarion-CZ702-Vehicle-Digital-Receiver/dp/B006WVXA0I/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1341124101&sr=1-3&keywords=clarion+cz702 (headunit)

    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7755_Focal-165-A1.html (speakers)

for the amp go with one of these

    http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=269-191

    or

    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_37931_Image-Dynamics-i5800.html

    http://store.soundsolutionsaudio.com/products/dcon-12-sound-solutions-audio-12-300w-dcon-series-subwoofer.html (sub)

that would total out to either 829.48 or 614.46 depending which amp you choose giving you enough to add wire, box, and deadener. If set up correctly it would sound damn good, that headunit gives you the ability to go fully active so make sure you use it to the fullest.

  4. am i the only one who read the op and giggled if thats what your friend wants he doesnt want sq he wants ghetto fabulous

I read the OP and thought that it's going to be darn hard to get a decent system for $1,000. Bass for $1,000? Yes.

Entire system? That's going to be tough. Like others have said, buy off the net, not from any brick and mortar shop to pull it off. JMO.

yeah the only way to get an entire system for 1000 bucks is to check out the classifieds or look at your buddy craigs list. you can easily piece together a nice sounding system for 1000 buying on craigslist

seriously? building a system for 1000 is easy the issue im reffering to is that the system he outlined is far from an sq style set up
