  1. You need to get on some decaf lol the quality difference is night and day.

shoot me a link for some decaf I have heard of it but never found anything well ill put it this way I dont have a whole lotta time to search for stuff haha..

Without dimensions I would try 3 cubes after displacements with a single 6" port like you suggested. I would fire the sub back and put the port on the drivers side of the box side firing into the trunk wall. I built a similar box except for a Nightshade 15 and used an 8" aero and did a 152.6 but in a hatch. I'm sure you would still have decent results in a trunk. However I did use around 4k watts. Use the box calculator to figure out the dimensions. I can't do it on the tablet I'm using. It is a pain in the ass.

So something like the simple box above except sub firing rear of car and port firing towards trunk wall(vehicle seats)? or port also firing towards the trunk lid(opening)

I was thinking of firing port towards the drivers side rear tire from the side I have heard of a few people using this setup and getting good results.

  2. What's up everyone, just looking to see if someone can shoot me a design for a ported box for my new sundown z 15" v.3 woofer. I want to try an aero port so i can keep some trunk space lol Max dimensions are H15"xD26"xL34"

So here is a basic layout of what i am looking for.. I can use Torres to get a sealed design but just unsure on how much port i would need to get a 28-33htz tune I like lows haha.

well if you have any ideas or can shoot me a blueprint with cut sheet that would be great or if you know of a diff box calc that will help as well..

  3. to everyone saying a fifty is something easily to get out of a trunk you are flat out wrong....ive helped to build one its not like building a rgular box, ive also spent a lot of time learning from thorshammer...so please if you have never done it dont say its easy

I haven't read thoroughly through all the comments, however. I myself am not stating it will be easy and simple, but it is possible. Especially from a trunk of a car, but possible as long as box and tuning are correct. Also every car is different so thats is also one of the many factors... Like i said just my $.02

  4. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to hit 150+ with that setup. I have seen locals do 140+ with 2 SA8's on an AP3k. what i would suggest is get the Z's in D2 voice coils run them at .5ohm on the Nendo. Also throw the NS soft parts on the Z's using the Z v.3 spider pack should be good for 3k+ i believe, but hey thats just my $.02...

Im running just one 10"Z v.3 on a SHOK II 2.5k now and it takes it fine. Just make sure you tune right and your set. But like people say make sure you have the power to support that amp. More powwwaaa..

  5. OOH my favorite game!!!

It's the, solve my question about my equipment without ever mentioning me equipment game!!!

It would help us and yourself if you listed the equipment being used and questioned.

Also as far as a answer im shooting in the dark here not know what vehicle, sub, amp, elect, etc etc.. But i would grab a DMM and have a friend help you check your voltage drop seems to me that this might be the reason your amp goes into protect at high volumes. Do this then get back at us OP with full details.
