  1. you may just want to miss a show man. id wait for the other amp to come in stock but thats me. your gonna pay dearly for an AQ im sure.

edit: dont get me wrong, AQ kicks ass but if it were me id wait.

    OK

the original amp I wanted that was out of stock, the company called me today and said they would have me one to my door on tuesday, sweet.

  2. Thoughts and opinions please, I found a few clamps tests, great results on those.

anyone ran one of these? any problems?

Anything shared will be greatly appreciated, I was looking at 2 other brands but both are out of stock until after a SPL event on the 15th, I need something to hit my door by the end of next week so I can start testing the enclosure. None of the audio shops around me carry any thing at all of what im looking for so, i've been narrowing down the what seem to be quality for price options,

Do they catch on fire? LOL

  3. I've been using the excess resin from working on my enclosure to reinforce the trunk lid where the sub will be firing.

I already noticed an increase in SPL and SQ from doing this, the bass is already much punchier and its not completely done.

Once I put a little more on, Ill pull it off and hit it thick, then from there I can sand it and paint it. I will be also putting sound deadlining underneath.

  4. let me know what you figure out, it looks like you may have a hard time doing that since you glued it in already, another idea would be to cut a bunch of circles everywhere you can, top and sides with a door knob hole drill ,what ever hell its called , then maybe cover that whole panel with that grillcloth hiding all the holes but letting air through you could do that while its in the trunk and vacuum out the saw dust,

  5. very nice man are there any more?

this is my current vehicle, I got it in Jan. 08, I put the 22s on it about 2 weeks after I got it. I had been working 55-70 hours a week for the last 5 years, the only interest had was going to sleep or eating a meal, I slacked big time because I did not even have time to enjoy my vehicle. no time to enjoy what I like to do. so now I have more time and I will be getting things done pretty quick. Right now the stereo im running is what I took out of the grand am. That changes this week.

De-badging and re-badging believe it or not, it took like 4 hours to do, but thats what it takes to lay it down perfect

I always thought the Lincoln "B L A C K W O O D" emblem across the back of the truck bed was cool, so thats the style I wanted, I put this on there 3 years ago, its still on and perfectly straight

it sits a little higher from the wheels having a much larger diameter, but they sit flush in the fender wells as seen below

  6. traded in the caddy, Got this 2001 GT in 01, bought it new, put 18"s, then 19"s then 20"s, then the GREED Lust 23" (20 inch rim, 23" flange face)

When I put the greedgt 23" on, the grandamgt.com forum permanently banned me when i posted pictures. They hated on anyone that had wheels bigger than 18", when I posted the pictures, I could no longer view the site from my computer. (blocked the IP) and proceeded to talk as much shit as possible, the admin even went into my user profile and changed my information, and my slogin to "GT Sittin Queer" I got on another computer and fixed it http://www.grandamgt...mber.php?u=1728 and never went back, never even went to any grand am websites again cause I guess no one could handle it, this was in 2004.

Concept PT 12 on a 1000w RMS MTX class D, did 143.3db in DB drag with stock H/U, before I installed the stuff pictured above, this speaker and box was stolen when someone robbed my car, I actually recovered the box 1 year later when some one was showing me they're stereo, there is sat. I lost it immediately, he took his speaker out and gave me the box right then. I still have that box sitting in the garage. Lost $5,000 of stuff in the jack.

Thats weird i see lost of builds like this maybe i missed something.

There is a lot of builds like that, but it is possible to literally seal the bass into the trunk. below---This was my first system I had done in 1998, I lost 23db when that top part was up, and it was still ported back into the car. thats a lot of db's, panel up, 119.5 DB, panel down 142db
