There are alot of various ways to design a clamshell.
2 subs per chamber on top and bottom with a port on top and bottom. Same sub setup but with port in the middle. Same sub setup with ports on either side. All depends on the room you have to work with and what you want to get out the finished product.

Looks clean and straight forward. Good job.

LOL. Poor guy didn't have a chance, niether did the manager.

Yet we forget how much gas is in other parts of the world, but we are bitching here. I am not saying it is right that gas has soared like it has in the past year, but think about how much we aren't spending as opposed to others.

I needed the good laugh this morning.
I always loved how people claim this or that, yet haven't a clue.

Thats to funny.

Nice van. Very clean.

Go with the first one, the second is more for interior trimming. Make sure it matches what you are taking off tho.

Can try looking thru here for a replacement.

What kind of truck ?
use a combo regular dampening and spray on on the roof and floor. better overall sound deadening that way. Not sure on total amount needed, since there isn't a vehicle specified.
Everything else looks good. I wouldn't worry to much on rearfill, unless it is something you truely want. Maybe add a set of tweets in the a-pillars and extra midbass and midrange to keep up more with the 15's.
Go with the Kinetik 2400's. And depending on how many runs of each power and ground. You may need a little more 1/0 wire.
Go with 12 gauage for the comps and misbass speakers and maybe 8gauge for the subs. Possibley 10 depending on if the 8 won't fit in there terminals. Have to recheck mine again to see.

i dont believe these are the new rules for our DB DRAG RACING shows we have out here. those are some bunk ass rules from some other bs shows that we dont have out here so who cares. but them not having the autorama show because some loser who cant compete backed out now thats gonna suck.
No they are not the new DBDrag rules, these are MSD rules that are offered by Steve at all his shows. They are also his rules to help the new guy and those less fortunate as myself to compete and actually get to a finals of sort. MSD classes are also usually offered by DBDrag comps, unless the promoter doesn't want to offer them.
And if you read the rules throughly and use an open mind, you would not jump to such a harsh conclusion. These rules are for his venues and are geared to make it more even for us little guys and those that don't have the cash flow or sponserships. I can't say that enough.
I have no clue what the last part is suppose to mean about Autorama, but sure that has nothing to do with this topic.
-
From the shows I have been to, the outcome for the MSD classes is fairly large, if not larger then the other orgs at the same events.
He can improve by finding other subs that are more efficient or redisgning the box to help raise his score. There are other ways to get loud besides the equipment used. Even tho, as said, that new subs may help with a little more efficency.
-
Thats exactely what it is for. Newcomers and those that don't have the money to buy the large amps and highend subs.
And if you look at these rules as opposed to others, they are alot better and the field is equally match for all.
-
Get loud Productions has a new format of competeing to make it equal for everyone.
Check it out at there site and sign up for there forums and join in.
I and a few other feel this will take off and help those that don't have the money to invest in other orgs to be competitive. Think on the classes as you look them over and see for yourself. This will be big.
