Well im building a fiberglass 4th order box in the back of my 65 chevelle convertible for a 12" or 13". I am going 4th order route because lack of cabin pressure would probably not work well with a regular box. I havent bought the subs yet because i am debating on what subs to buy. I have noticed alot of manufacturers dont include the specs for their subs in the product descriptions so its difficult to determine if they will work or not. I Will be putting around 2k watts to each sub. Kindof narrowed it down to the re xxx and the jl audio 13w7, thats based on specs that they will for sure work in a 4th order. I would like to know of some other 12" subs that will work with a 4th order and they need to have an rms of at least 1500watts.

I say run it over with your truck.

I wouldnt mess with the seatbelt.

I also run my amps remote turn ons from a relay, I use the same relay to also turn on cooling fans. Works like a champ.

All i see here is "I think" " I think" but no one has one shred of evidence to prove it.

So what you are saying is by using 2 different batteries they will last only 25% as long? And pray tell where did you come up with this theory oh great conductor of knowledge?try like half the life there is no set number tho it could take half the life 3/4 of it or just a quater depends on the batt
but if it takes 3/4 of the life a batt that last 4 years will now last 1 year rule of thumb i would automaticaly minus half its life if doing this
oh wait your the smart guy that thinks high post count = beat up equipment well in your case i say it will take 99% of its life away cause you are clueless

I wouldnt buy anything off a forum EVER because this kind of thing would be a horror story.

How much shorter life are we talking here?. I mean months, days, years, what?. Who cares if one dies a week earlier then the other.

Why not just buy subs yourself instead of casing the neighbors apt?

Walls are good to avoid trunk rattling, because you dont have a ton of pressure firing on your rear deck.

I have enough airspace to run any two 12 or 13" subs. Im just looking for a sub that works in a 4th order, so i guess it needs to be a sub with a high qes and a low fs. Also one that can take 1500wrms+
