  1. Why is the sp4 cheaper than the btl ??

Not sure if I can post this next question here about I give it a try please don't lock me

Got Rockford 2500.1bd I was told to get two bl but I was looking in to the btl or sp4 what's best

  2. Hey has anyone brought any subs from fi car audio in the last month I heard a couple bad reviews about this company and what even makes it worst they have no contact number so you can't call if you have a question about anything or a problem.last thing I heard about the company there is a guy of nick who works for fi takes your money and doesn't ship.I don't want to be a victim.so any input be great thanks

  3. Box is looking good steve, hopefully it sounds just as nice! :D

    Hey Steve can I run 1 Rockford fosgate t2500-1bd and 2 Mayhem 12 D2 –Ascendant Audio 12

    I wouldn't recommend it

1st reason if you get dual 2 ohm coils which actually read 1.4 a coil you would be running that amp at 0.35ohms (parallel wiring) or 1.4ohms (series/parallel wiring). That amp sure wont take .35ohms. At 1.4ohms that amp wont make much power, especially after impedance rise, and the woofers wouldn't even move with much authority .

2nd reason being that 2 Ascendant Audio Mayhems will laugh at 2500 watts rms on the pair of woofers, and wouldn't even really get moving until you have 4500-5000 watts rms on them.

You would be better off going with dual 2 ohm coils and 2 rf 2500bd. Which will be 1 amp per 1 sub @ .7 ohms.

If 2 amps is not in your budget you would be better off getting the next model down, like the Havocs and get dual 1 ohm coils (which read .7ohms per coil) and with a series/parallel voice coil wiring config you would be running the amp at a safe impedance of 0.7ohms on one rf2500bd.

I think am going to stick with the one amp for now which be the better sub to run the Havoc or t2 the havoc is 1250w and the rf t2 1200w
  4. Hey errrrrbody. I am very close to locally purchasing a ZX350.4 for my first mids & highs amp for a great price in my city up here in Canada. the reason the deal is good is because the amp is supposedly not working properly. What the seller has said in his ad, and as well as through text messages is that it "Works great but won't turn off. The technician said the FAT must have been fried (whatever that means) other than that it still works." and.. "it turns on the moment you hook it up to the battery but it won't shut off even with the car turned off. It was bought brand new but I just shorted it when I installed it."

Has anyone ever dealt with a problem like this? Is it repairable? I personal had my bass amp repaired at some circuit board repair company in town so that may be an option for me as well. Please advise!!!

Well i got a good working 350.4 for sale it mite be cheap to get mind than the other guy because you got to buy his send it to fix and that can be weeks my soon as you pay have it in the mail be there in about three days hook it up and you good to go

  6. like i said. if you get two 2500s, get the mayhems. if you only want one amp, get the havocs. I'm an AA dealer, I know what the subs are rated at.

birth sheets dont mean shit. they are found while using a non reactive load. in reality, your subs might see 1500w from that amp. thats why other companies dont do birth sheets. its marketing crap, just like max power ratings.

inbox me a good price on the subs
  7. the mayhem will be just fine on that power. but it can take SSOOOO much more. for a 2500w amp, i would do two havocs. they sound amazing. if you got two 2500s, i would get the mayhems.

The havocs is only 1250 watts same as the Rockford t2 I was going to get the amp birth sheet is over 3000 watts and I plan on adding another t2500-1 in the feature what's best
