SONIC Electronix RULES Ultra Comfortable Fit
Damn i read the post and i thought it said on the top of the box, i was like i dont see anything! lol
-
If you call them or email them you will get a much faster answer to your question
-
i was asking you, it seems to me that it would make it easier to do it with the door off but thats just me
-
or use 8 gauge wire. depends n the door grommets too. some you can pull out of both ends and squish together and feed it through that way.
so are you saying i should take the door off to do it?
-
i can imagine how much of a pain in the ass it is. my friend has a fish tape that i could use but idk when hes gonna be home so i was just looking for other suggestions. im not sure if the longest zip tie would be long enough
-
hey guys, i just bought some new door speakers and need some advice on how to run the wires through the door frame/boot tubing. my car is a 2004 taurus se and the speakers are rf t1862 if that helps.
-
Lol the wires were blue on the picture so I assumed they were 1/0
-
Option 1 wouldn't really work because the amp only accepts up to 4 gauge
-
One more question, would a 230a alt be okay for my amp with stock battery or would I need a better one? Such as xs?
-
I never thought of size adapters though thanks guys. But the only reason I suggested the distribution block is because I will be adding another amp soon and getting some mids and highs to replace the doors. Just slowly piecing my system together as I get the money. I'm ordering a h/o alt soon
-
There are adapters,.. nice adapters made to get your 1/0 to get into a 4g
Dude,... I have to know what amp you have?... 2k with a 4g input.... what amp you running my friend?
My 1000.4ad that BS at close to 300 per channel has 4g toss ins as well...... just asking is all bud..
I am running an hfi2000d that I got for a steal brand new

Okay, so I am going to run some 1/0 wire from my battery to my trunk to replace my 4 gauge because as all of you know, 4 gauge cannot supply enough juice for a 2k amp. So I plan to run the 1/0 to a distribution block then run the 4 gauge to the amp because it only accepts 4 gauge or smaller. So my question is, do I fuse the wire within a foot of the battery AND fuse the 4 gauge after the distribution block?
Thanks!

You have to email support for SS to get that taken care of, I don't think Jon can help you with that.
