yea i know i park the car in my garage plus my room is right in the back so i can hear if someone is there, so i will def keep it lockeed up til i get a better alarm system

cool headunit, i wish i knew how to use all my features on mine, i got the older one premire 860 mp and love it other than the ipod situation lol, and i love the 6.5v preouts, anyway build looks good for only second build, keep up da good work
yeah i dont like the ipod feature either, but i do like that the 880 has a aux where i can connect the ipod differently so thats cool

well the subs now arent connected waiting on the amp to get fixed. but yes i got 4 batts in total , one in front three in back,.. i am going to add another battery i got, but they will due for now untill i get more money i really want to get three d3100, but i gota wait for that

just took these pictures today,, here is the new head unit , and the way the box with pa speakers look,, again i am going to change this setup, i might move the speakers two on each side. reason is the box is too close to the back door, so i have to move the box up. also on top of the box is where my ma audio amp was, as you can see the broken rca cables are there, and the screw peeled off alittle of the mdf on the top.
and finally, although the batteries i got inside the car are not the best i did buy a kinetik 1800 and did the big three

lol,, well i think it could have been some one around my area, only cuz i did bump my solox when i had one,, and now i didnt have the xxgoliath in there, so i was just playing my pa speakers so i think someone heard me,, but it was my fault for leaving my car outside with a stock alarm.. now its inside my garage

thats crazy!! i bet that box was heavy as hell, onlything i didnt see was internal bracing. is there any?
the 880prs is an awesome unit also
yeah the box is heavy,, but i didnt do any bracing, the box fits tight so the side panels of the car will help it from flexing abit. also since it my 2nd box im still learning how to do bracing. i had the 880prs and i love it so far.

i put the seat on top to see if the amps fit.
the leds put in, and the subs installed:
after that i carpeted the box i had a Ma audio amp on top of the box for 4 12'' pa speakers ( pics coming soon).
i will add a few more pictures later tonight or tomorrow how it looks now with the pa speakers.
Since this half finished build i had my car broken into
(broke my window), they managed to take my ma audio amp, and tried to unbolt the Solox, but those are held down tight and stole a craftsman socket set 109pc from my car too..a few updates to this build is: i am having one xx goliath rebuilt, bought a new head unit deh-p880prs, pics soon. i am staying with the batteries, no money to buy powermasters,, I am however getting a 290 amp alt from dc power, installing the amps ina different location, and getting another amp to replace the stolen ma audio. a few specs, the box is tuned to about 33hz, w=48, depth =35 height =25 , i will hook up the solox at 1ohm for 10,000 watts

from that point i put the goliath inside to see how they fit, i connected the batteries wired the rca to ny head unit, etc.. this is what has been done, i am going to change to position of the amps and batteries, i will show those pics later. Enjoy:

hi, to start i have a 2005 dodge caravan. I started with 1 kicker solo x 18 dual 1ohm with one hifonics goliath. this is the video of my first build, at 3200watts (hooked up at 2ohm) sorry the quality isnt the best.
Since then i have been saving up money, bought a brand new solox 07 black cone (dual 2ohm) , and a spair cone for the old solox i had. I also bought another xx goliath broken, which is being rebuilt now.
I have taken out the old box and started with the new box here are the pictures: please remeber this is my 2nd build ever, thanks

here is resined the box, i added alot of layers to the corner, i also use titebond III and 1'' mdf.
the front port side i added a 1'' plexi and wanted to flush it with the mdf, so here are the pics of me resigning it , i also screwed it to side pieces of mdf.
the plexi got alittle dirty since my friend helping me out took out the cover without knowing, but overall i still liked the way it came out, oh and im the short one in the picture

That setup should be a very loud one. Post lots of pics once you get started.

For 10kw I highly suggest more than one alternator if you intend to play it very long at maximum output levels. If you don't plan to actually listen to it utilizing the full 10kw you'll probably be alright with one large alternator - but I would do at least a couple Group-31 size AGM batteries.
Running 12kw in my truck with dual powermaster 200-amp alts it drags down to battery voltage pretty rapidly at high volume.
hi, i actually plan on putting 2 alts. im keeping the stock alt which is 160 amp.. and im either goning to get a 260 or 280 amp alt from Dom. so i atleast want to have 420 amp in the altertnator setup,, and since its going to cost from $800-1000 to install , thats the reason why i cant get the other batteries for now

If your looking to bump this thing, your going to need more batteries.
i plan to get more batteries later, but for now i can only afford the 2000 kinteik for the front and the 2 deka sea mate batteries i got now, and i got a stinger sp800

thanks, i will definitly do the build log. im just waiting for school to finish ( may 15) and to get atleast either the sub or the extra alt to start, but i will post it soon

With the alternators you should be fine, maybe a couple more batteries. If I remember correctly these subs wont take 5000 watts daily?
actually i talked to polecat about putting both xx goliath on one 18'' and he said it can take it for burps but not daily.. the 18'' are rated at 5000 rms, 10k peak, but for 5k rms you need alot of space.
plus the new black cones allow for the subs to get wired at 1ohm, so it will be exact with the goliaths. polecat told me that the new cones do 5000 rms as well, just the only thing differnt is the wiring options

problem with the power supply?
as of right now i got on hand : all the mdf for the build , both xx goliaths , all the wires 1/0, one 18'' solox,, 6 pa speakers, with ma amp for them, and the smaller things like terminals, fuses. and two deka batteries for now.
all i need to get now is another
1)18'' solo x,
2)iraggi alt ( just waiting for the group buy), and have it installed (dual - stock is 160 amp alt, and ill add either a 240, 260 or 280 iraggo alt, depending which has a higher output at idle) and just
3) 1 kinetik 2000 for the front.

yeah i know,, orginally i was gona stick with 1 sub and 1 amp,, but when i saw the other amp for 310, i wanted to hook both up to 1 18'' solox ,, but then after some thought i decide to do the 2 subs.. i have 1 solox no ,, i just got to get the other one now.
so 10k rms in subs .,, and i will install it in my 05 caravn haha

i will run these two amps, to , two 18'' Kicker solo x .. i will run them at 1ohm ( on each sub) to get the full 5k rms out of them
