  1. The difference is that the Damp Pro has a thicker butyl core, more than twice as thick actually.

Now keep in mind that our entry level Damplifier is no slouch. It will perform on par with most other brands 'extreme' version.

Ok I'm prob just Gunna go with 40sqft of damplifer all I want it to do is stop my trunk lid from rattling and get rid of some of the cabin drone from my exhaust setup,

    Thanks for the help man.

  2. They got pretty low for being in a sealed box but never tried them ported because I didn't have room in the truck they were in (or my Eclipse the few weeks they were in there). I pulled them out of my Eclipse because someone was gonna buy them then never showed up. I might have to try doing something ported with them someday but for now I like my DC Lvl 4 12 that's in their place because I have some trunk space back.

I'm considering keeping one of my zx1500s & running 6 of the pr 10s off it in my trunk. Need a new alt in my car anyway might aswell get a 270amp for a little more

  3. I have 4 10" PR's and love them. They get loud in the right box and don't need much power. I was giving the 4 of them a true 1400 watts (100 over rated) and never had any issues but I would be careful giving them much more than that. When I had them in my Mitsubishi Mighty max they were sealed and down-firing in just under 5^3 and did a 147 sealed on the dash.

If I keep my gtp that I have now I might do 4 10 pr's. Or just 2 15 prs not sure

Do your 10s hit the lows? Building a box wouldnt be a problem

  4. How many alts and batteries will I need if I'm walling off on six 15''s?

Lmao no mention of what power your going to be running...

But to answer the question how it is. None. Subs don't need power. Amps do

    Subs don't need power?

So people just do 50's on hopes and dreams?

It was obvious I was making fun of his post. Subs don't require current. Amps do...nvm I'm not explaining it...re read the whole post

  5. They can be ok subs. Just follow what southern66ss said and you should be ok. FYI I have a pair of 15" m3 mojos that i might be selling soon.

Thanks but I want a low wattage setup next that's the reason for this, I have 4 cvx 12s and 2 zx1500s that I'm not putting in now cause I don't want to buy a Ho alt and batts. Which I'm selling now

  6. Just make sure you have the correct box built for the subs b/c they do not like being in a pre-built box. plus they don't like to be over powered much b/c they will get warm (very) but other than that, they should work good. I'm running 2 12" pr's in a box that is 2 ft3 for each sub and they sound good. I'm prolly gonna be selling them around the first of the year and upgrading. Oh one other thing....do the Big 3 on the blazer and you might want to think about putting a second battery in the back and use all good high quality wiring.

On my current setup now I use all knu 1/0

    & I don't think you can get a prefab for 4 15s...

  7. Ok so I'm getting a blazer in a week so I'm thinking going getting bigger subs

Anyway the new build I want to do is a small power one and just wanted to see what people think

    4 Memphis 15" pr's & 1 zx1000.1

I'm considering doing this so no electrical upgrades will be needed other than a bigger underthehood battery.

Let me know what you think of these subs

  8. has anyone thought of plasti-dipping they're enclosure?( the inside) it would definitly seal all the edges and its cheap.

im thinkn bout doing my whole car (outside) just gotta decide a color to use......

but yea....enclosures.... do you think it could raise output? maybe someone should test this....i would but my system isnt loud enough to notice any gain and i dont have a termlab

Honestly dude I was going to plastidip the whole outside of my car too but think about if its worth spending $300 and have some asshole come up to.your car in a parkinglot and peel some off...that's what stopped me

  9. I think the cone area of 4 10's is like 314 and the area of 2 square 12's is like 288. Don't quote me on that but 4 10's would have more cone area

thats the kind of answer i was looking for lol. thanks

He said don't quote him. Lol
