    OK... co as of now i have 1 D2 BTL 18" on a AQ2200D wired at 1 ohm...I want to add another sub and amp.

    So if i add another sub and amp i can either:

    -Expensive Method:

    Says this on AQ.com: 2 ohm Linked Power @ 14.4V @ 1% THD 4400 x 1

    This means that i can link the 2 amps together and ill have 4400rms at 2 ohms correct? Then i will need to recone my BTL i have now to a D1 and then order another D1 BTL and i can wire it up. I think im correct with this...please correct me if im wrong!

    -Cheaper Method:

    Buy another AQ2200d and another D2 BTL and wire seperate power wires for the amps and run 1 amp per D2 sub.

    My problem here is that 1 is going to cost me much more and the other is going or seems to be alot more difficult tuning wise...

    Which should I do? ANY info is GREATLY appreciated!!!!

    Agreed,trust me a good alarm is very important and if possible get a few extra sirens added on.I speak from experiance :(

    i have been thinkin about somehow (dont know if its possible) adding a train horn on the truck and wiring it to the alarm system for when it goes off and best of all the chirp chirp haha. i think that would be fun and i will definitly hear it if someone trys to get in.

    alternator, u know u need it... who doesnt want there shit loouder

    hey, imma throw a brick threw ur back windown, stab ur sub cause ur alarm is loud as fuck and break some more shit

    weewoooweewoooww..... that alarm isnt gonna do shit unless ur at ur house... otherwise, useless

    spend $20 a month extra on insurance for ur car and have EVERYTHING covered

    even if u get an autopage, u still need time to get to ur car... average car thief is out in 37seconds

    Thats they way it is now... They told me i need pictures AND reciepts for everything.... I dont have reciepts for half my shit cuz my computer fried and i have all the pictures but dont think they will accept that as good enough....

    i dont need the alternator right now. im doing ok on voltage for the most part. but i would definitly like one before i add any more power or subs.

    thats why im considering... around here if my car gets broken into people arent even gonn a care... they are just gonna keep on going...

    chances are no one will be home when it happens too...

    i dno... i called and talked to my insurance company and the say aslong as i have receipts for everything in my car, if it gets stolen its covered....

    im iffy... the alarm would be smart but i dno if i want the 5900... i want remote start and a decent alarm... something better than stock... but dont want to spend $600 installed...

    i actually only paid bout 300,, cost of parts,, it helps to know the shop owner,, but since then,, everythings gone up a bit,, check www.summitracing.com out,, they should have cheap prices on the muffler, and the cat if you decide to go that route

    $290 for cat and $70 for the muffler... $360 + labor since i dont know any OWNERS of any shops. I know Chode69 works at a shop but I dont know if they do exhaust... I think i remember seeing exhaust in there but not sure. even then i highly dought he could get me a decent deal on a exhaust install because that shop is insanely over priced...

    all i would need is the cat and the muffler and then take it to a shop or do i need anything else before it can be installed?

    im trying o get an estimate on it how bad my wallet will be feelin' haha.

    Now a dumb question. It probably wont pass inspection after i do this will it? i have to go back in a lil less than a year.

    I've got a flowmaster 40 and a cat back exhaust it sounds ok. My buddy has a header back exhaust fully mandrel bent with the cat still and hooker muffler, true duals, and it sounds sexy as hell. mine gets raspy above 3g's his sounds great to 5k. difference is I spend 150 cat back, he has over 500 in his.

    im lookin at spendin maybe 150 ish. nothing too much im just not sure exactly what i need. then again i know i wont be able to install this stuff either so i will need install on top of that.

    Between the two of my trucks,, both a 4.3 and both have exhaust on them,, i like the one with my Flowmaster 40 series on it,, i have a Magnaflow Highflow Cat. Converter on it with 3 inch exhaust piping all the way out,, and turndowns on the muffler,, it sounds pretty deep at idle and lower rpms,, once you get to the upper rev range, it isnt as deep, but its no where near rice

    sounds good. what in all would i need?

    got an estimate on how much it may cost me?
