  1. yea so i still never received my BTL yet. i understand that they were at SBN for the past week or so, but i emailed scott and he told me that he will ship it out tomorrow (tommorow being today). my UPS status still says "billing info received". anyone else experiencing the same delays i am? its been 17 days so far.

  2. i wonder how many people are gonna help steve on the T15 build. i wonder this b/c obvisoly when you do custom installs you need to do test fittings and moving the amp around and stuff. now when he does this he is gonna need 3 people to help him everytime he nees to move it. No doubt steve is a god, but this thing weights close to 200lbs not to mention its an awkward shape to hold also. (well....a little awkward)

  3. it just sux cuz im always the guy saying dont let anyone do anythig for you, b/c if u want it done right you gotta do it yourself. but i now find myslef in a situation where i wont be able to get to it for a few weeks and the last resort is bringing it somewhere. thank god its just a tailight and nothing too too serious.

zax, i thank you ery much

  4. yea i hear you on that man. we already tried tracing the wire from the brake light to the fuse box, but all the wires get lost up under his dash when it gets to the front. i dont have the time, nor does he to take apart the dash to try to get a look at where all the wires feed into. might just take it to my friend who works at Avenue Sound by my house, this weekend.

  5. A little trick i learned that might make it easier is to take a rabbit bit and cut a small groove on the endboards and then you can wrap the carpet around the top, bottom, front and back.

example: set the box on the carpet and roll it up like a burrito.

Then for the ends you can take a piece of carpet and stick it in the groove and use a screwdriver to push the carpet down into the groove and then take your razorknife and cut to the outside of the groove and voila.

there are sides and you cant see since the carpet is normally thick and fuzzy enough to hide it. Also, this only works if you put the sides on the inside portion of the box. ive never seen it done with the sides held on to the outside.

im trying to picture this in my head, i got the roll it up like a burrito part, then cut a groove on the end caps of the box around all 4 sides of the end? then stick the carpet into those grooves, then cut a square piece of carpet and cover the remaining uncovered end?

i think after the part where you stick it in the grooves i lose it...

you would'nt happen to have a picture would you?

either that or im just looking into it way to much

  6. Where is your fuse box in relation to where you pulled the wires through the firewall?? And do you have a fusebox inside of the car...I am sure you do just where is it..??? Also what model matrix do you have...Toyota Matrix

my fuse box is is about 2 feet from where i ran my 2 runs through the firewall to the right of th engine bay, under my hood. the one on the inside is under the dash and thats the one where the 15A fuse keeps blowing that controlls the tailights. 2005 toytota matrix btw

  7. plus, i think the btl takes like 5 days to machine all the parts and build, since they are for custom applications. scott will eventually get back to you, it might take a day or two, but i emailed him several times and always gotta response...two thumbs up for customer service over there!! dont worry, you will have them before you know it!!

yea scott got back to me in a matter of 3 hours, since i emailed him last nite. amazing customer service! i cant wait to start this build

  8. dude the hc800 is insane and well worth the money. i installed one in friends car and his voltage barely drops. (he is running around 3200rms) thats the one im gettin for my car when all my equipment arrives. maybe u already have a dry cell batt undeer you hood already, but if you dont then i advise you get one (a HC2000 maybe?) but the kinetik will run alot better when its hooked up to another dry cell

  9. (i think imposting in the correct thread, if im not just move it)

i ordered my BTL about a week ago and on Fi's website it says they have received my payment, and i got a confomation email from them. but on their site it also says

Status: order recived (Payment is being carried out by Paypal)

Does this mean my order is still in the process of being sent to Fi, or does it mean that Paypal is the company that is transfering ("carried out)" the money?

i could be looking into this too much but im jus extremely anxious

anyone who has ordered from them in the past, how long did it take you to recieve yours?
