If you are not going to upgrade your sub later for a higher rated rms sub @ 1 ohm, then for about the same price and wattage at 2 ohms you may want to consider the T500-1bdCP which is smaller compact and the higer line than the punch series amp and have the same rating at 2 ohms.
-
How much are you buying the P1000-1bd for?
-
It will be fine, set your gain appropriately.

I need a single box design for an SA-12. Ported. And I will only be using about 500 watts in a Saturn L200. Can't find any designs for such low watts.
Check your pm.

so sa-12 d2 on the brz1200.1d at 1 ohm running 1200 watts
i didnt see it say anything if that was peak or rms and does the rating true up to its performance?
soryy im not to teriibly familiar with hifonics
It's a bit over rated on the rms, and yes that's rms. It's ok for the money.

I would go with the 2 sa's ported !

Great place to buy indeed, especially from Canada.
-
So the sa-8's would be a little too much. Sonic i appreciate the advice but im not a fan of JL.
Haha, Thanks mann, I know a lot of people are not JL fan, but the ZR800-CW are pretty good midbass drivers.

"and you are the biggest pile of shit NOBODY has ever heard of" nice reply

I have to try that IDmax 15
-
Happy 2013 everyone.

Must be a typo. Rating is 500 watts rms.

You are very successful at what you do and have accomplished what many other aspire to do and failed for one reason or the other. You know your self better than anyone and just continue to do what you do, that made you who you are, the will always be rotten apples in the barrel that will try to bring you down, but as always the number of good apples are more than the bad ones and is on you side.

underpowering wont hurt anything. Trying to compensate for low power by clipping will. I can't recommend which of those two to get. all i can say is every time i buy something i find myself 6 months later wishing i would have saved up for more powa! more more more.
He is correct, that will damage your sub, so, set your gain correctly.
-
There is nothing such as damaging a sub by underpowering it, get the Z, build the proper enclosure and upgrade the amp later.

Usually it takes a few box to get it right... but worth the experience.

Thanks, been shopping there for years. Stumbled on them one day and the BBB gave them a B+ at the time. Shopped there every since.
