Yeap, I'm pretty impressed by this setup! I had been considering just running one sub for a minute now. Kinda have me thinking I should have just keep one of my Havocs and T1500-1bd and put it in a box like this. I think I'm through box building for a while. Probably change sub and amp next year some time, but I'm really enjoying this Q right now!

Couple of Vids I did today

thanks!!! JBLACK, hows that remote treatin ya? Im just as excited to be able to plug it in at night to a USB to charge as anything else...ive been doing NOTHING BUT changing batteries in Chickens Hoopty with the 5900 - its like every 2 or 3 weeks. I also hear you can program it on the computer? Is that true or is it just to charge it?
Also, how is the range? can you go inside target or walmart with it? The only prob i had with my old alarm is, it had good range as long as nothing was in the way, like a wall at a big store or mall.
Man I love it! It's so convenient to be able to charge it. When I first got it, the charge lasted almost a month, now I'm charging it once a week, which is still good! No, you can't program it on the computer, maybe they were talking about the new one with the color screen.
Man I've started mine up a couple of times while in walmart and target, so yeap it works fine! Also start mine while at work, which has all kinds of interference, still starts up fine. I have noticed though if my truck is facing away from where I am, like me backing into a park and my truck is facing the opposite direction, it takes longer for it to react. Sometimes I may have to hit the remote start twice for it to start, but it still works! But all in all, it's an awesome alarm and has great range, so you won't be disappointed!

how many watts is it?
They were refurbs so they didn't come with a birth sheet. I said "they" cause I got 2 of them. I haven't had chance to clamp them, but I think they are 1450+w rms. Reason I say that is cause Ive had 2 before that were both over 1480w rms and these are just as strong.

Nice video mang. I am pondering another rebuild. Might let the FI BL's go. May go for multiple sealed subs on this go round.
Sounds like a plan! If I rebuild that's exactly what I'm going to do, Sealed with multiple 12s or 15s!!

I haven't had any issue with the large back windows but the small ones are sealed up with silicone + Gorilla Tape for extra safety. One came close to falling out once before. It twisted so bad from the flex that it was coming out of the track. I made sure that it wouldn't happen again.
Yeah the small ones are the ones I'm talking about! I had thought about sealing them up with silicone before, but just didn't. Might have to go head and do it cause they are flexing like crazy.
-
Nice!! D, what did you do to keep your side windows from flexing like crazy?
-
nice flexx bro..... what paint did u use on the box?
Black Lacquer on top and regular interior paint on the rest
