Contact sundown i believe you can. Maybe cheaper to sell and re-buy.
Their blown so resell value is tough, haven't thought of putting them for sale on SMD though. What do you think I could get out of them?

What version of sa 8? I believe if they are version 1 you can with correct spacer..

Somebody enlighten me on this, I have two SA-8's that need to be reconed. Can I order recone kit's for them and also buy two SA 12 baskets and convert them from SA-8's to SA-12's?

I'd never seen them in person before I bought them off a guy on Craigslist and when he went to hand them to me I almost dropped them cause for 8's they are heavy af!

These kids I go to school with smh.Yea that's what happens to me if I tell someone about my subs there like there junk, then I drive by and my wing is flexing for inches and they hear me coming.
People automatically think stuff is junk if they never heard of it

I go to a high school where Kicker Comps are "top dolla" and Sony Xplods are great quality. smh

I quick tip, not sure if you're new to car audio or are getting into it now.. But be patient, patience is a key attribute in car audio, all the money saving, taking the extra time to make everything better, not look cheap. Just take your time and do things right, don't buy a cheaper product because that's all you can afford right now.. Keep your money, save it for something bigger and better. Good luck to you OP!
Beat me to it! I was just about to say be patient. Don't cut corners to finish the build and for the love of god lol buy OFC wire.

Another piece of advance. Never be to afraid to sacrifice a seat to meet the standard box size requirements. Unless you need it.

I feel any car audio system needs the Big 3 upgrade going from 500 watts to 30,000 plus! It strengthens your electrical plus you'll get a better current draw!
The alt only being 90 amps doesn't help a good portion. From what I've read alts produce their greatest output averaging around 1800 rpms.
