  1. They have been busy unloading containers and their internet is down. This is copy & paisted from the Sundown page on Facebook.

Well I was going to post from my home PC to let everyone know our internet was down most of the day yesterday... But my internet is down at home too! Not sure when it will be restored at work as we are getting a big internet upgrade requiring a good bit of re-wiring. This will, of course, put a huge damper on emails and order processing but I imagine it'll be on by Friday at the latest.

Container unloading day most of the day today; one down so far this morning. Plus we will be unloading another in the morning tomorrow. So most other tasks will take a back-seat until that is done.

Ah good lol I thought they were ignoring me ha I hope to get these recones soon and start a build log. Is email the fastest way to get a hold of them though?

  2. I'm trying to buy some recones for a pair of SA woofers and I having a lot of trouble getting a hold of Sundown to purchase the recones :cray: Does anybody know of a quick way to get a hold of them? I've contacted and talked to a couple SA dealers in DFW area (Texas) and I've sent a couple of emails over a period of about 2 weeks. And I realize there busy but it's just a little frustrating..

  3. Bassbarbie has the V2's. Just a FYI...at least I think.

You got a good deal man. Arent recone only 40-50$ for those little guys. SO 200$ you got 2 new V1 sa-8's and a box. Good shit.

I know I figure they shouldn't be to different though. Sundown quoted '10-32' actually so even better

Yea not a big difference but thats great price. Under 200$ is awesome.

I'm happy with it. Just gotta find somebody to recone them. Considering I don't trust myself to do it.

  4. 4 brands to choose from IMO not to say one is best but they are all respectable, you make your own decision

xs power, batcap, kinetik, DEKA. all great choices. there are others but those seem to be most known. do your research, see what other members run on here, and be happy with the thrill of some on demand reserve amperage

I've dealt with XS and Kinetik but what about Shuriken? I like the XS batts. Steve doesn't seem like he's ever had any problems with his..

  5. most definitely. and the dimensions for the HC2000 are 12"x6.5"x8.2"

I'll measure my batt tomorrow but would a 3100 or 3400 be to much>

i have NO experience with XS power batteries. i looked them up, and they were out of my budget. the Kinetiks seemed a more economic option but i've seen them stack up against big name brands no problem.

and when you say "too much" you mean the dimensions are too big? or too much power? well like socky said, getting the biggest specs would help if you wanted to upgrade down the road.

So what your saying is there is never too much unless it doesn't fit? Haha I can make it fit!
