I have the stock caddy 15"s and my dad has a broke Olds Aurora that we are stripping, I was thinking of putting the olds rims on my caddy, I photoshoped them on, what do you think, the only difference would be blackwall tires.

bass boost off, SSF can't be adjusted, you mean crossover?
so you like it, they gave you a free upgrade to an 08, and you still plan to sell it?
But if I turn the bass boost off it won't hit, but if you say so I will, yes I mean cross over it is set at 100hz.
I am probably going to sell it to my brother, he likes it, I love it, but I promised my dad I would by that pioneer when he bought a new sub.

THEY GAVE ME A NEW 08!!!!!
I put a nice letter, telling them what I had did, did not have the orig reciept like kicker wants, and they Sent me a new 08!!!! It is way better than the old one, I was amazed how hard it hit, now all i have to do is break it in and Im getting rid of it before I blow it, if I blow it, I have the volume at 1/4 bass boost at 1/4, sub sonic at 100hz and the gain 1/4 To break it in, Ima turn off bass boost in my head unit off.
But the new 08s hit way better and WAY more precise than the old ones, It is amazing how fast it parks and starts up again.

Oh kicker Received the package today, lets see if they give me a new one, if they don't im going to wall socket it, they throw it in the trash. It is basically a 22 pound paper weight...

Well we bought another sub, have some pics, the battery cover isn't put back together but you can get the idea
OMG it is SOOOOO LOUD, IMA have to borrow a minidv cam from work and get a video. This is the first system that made my ears really hurt... It is LOUD. Everything shakes on the car, I would def say that these subs will give a btl a run for its money

in all honesty korndog, buying that woofer, that is 2500 watts RMS and 6000 watts max, with a ZX750.1 that does what, 900 watts, is REALLY mis-matched.........this is why there are dealers, to help educate proper buying practices.

2000 watts RMS, 4000 watts max... Should be perfect match.
I'm just saying that sub had something wrong with it the first day I turned it on it stunk really bad, and the gains were adjusted with a multimeter... Now PoleCat, you can't say kicker has never made a subwoofer with a flaw, I think I just got a bad one, But that L7 didn't hit hard enough for me.

Well I blew it finally.. Piece of junk had it only a month.... it just stopped working, no loud pop or wierd noises just stopped working, it doesn't move any more...
Pretty sure it wasn't, their was no distortion...
Well This is what I'm getting to replace it, and it Isn't going to be a Kicker ever ever again, my first and my last Kicker...

Well it as to be something in your wiring. I have a 06 15" L7 on a Zx1500 that been on Memphis, Alpine and other amps and now it on a zx1500 (1500 wrms) and I haven't had any problem out of it in 1 1/2 yrs that i have own it. The shop you got it from should replace it no question asked if its only a month old. I just blew a set of kicker tweeter and i just took them back to where I got them and they open another set and gave me a new tweeter out the brand new set of components. Did you get your sub from a local shop or did you get it off the internet? Was it new or Rebu ? But anyone you got it from should replace it with no problem.I got it from the Radio Shack that I work at, he wouldn't take it back, he said if I sent it back to Kicker He would give me one out of the store well it is going to be at Kicker's door step in 2 days, and He said I can wait, so he won't give me one out of the store... My boss is a total Jerk Lies Lies Lies.

Its toasted, hooked it up in the store to an amp system and it won't do anything, smell, noise or move.
I just hooked it up with new wire too. Well I did see a lot of medium density fibre board dust all over it.

Well took it out of the box an no loose wires, got a new one from the store and hooked it up and the new one worked. i find it odd that it just stopped with no bad smell or loud pop or ripping sound, no amp protect mode, nothing.
Anyone familiar with Kickers RMA?

it doesn't even smell any more... when i push on it, it is not locked up.

Well I called Pioneer and and they don't repair subwoofers or offer parts for them.
