For the guys buying 8s, not too many are trying to throw 2k to 1 8 anyway. For most people that are going to buy the 8s, they are building a small setup in a ... vehicle with space constraints and they dont want to dump alot of money into electrical upgrades to be able to run alot of power. 2 8s and a 1.2k are a great combo.
This is pretty much my plan when I get my SUV (hopefully in the next couple of weeks, but not sure when I'll do the audio part). Nearly the entire cargo area behind the C pillars will be filled with work-related stuff. I'm hoping that it will still have enough room left over to stick a couple of 8s back there.

Any thoughts on target wattage rating yet?

x3oh you mean product. component sets would sell like mad.
x2 I would love to see some DC Components
You need something to go with the 4-channel

So sick. Hows the difference? Does it sound noticeably better?
my system sounded good but now it sounds amazing.
I bet now the system sounds as good as it (and the car) looks

I asked on their FB page (as a comment to their teaser) and they haven't announced the series yet for USA release.
Still just UK and other parts of Europe right now

The mad scientist has done it again
Nice work.
Pumpkin guts are disgusting, I hate them.

I just got it for PC a couple of days ago. I'm just barely past the intro mission, though (work got in the way). The KB+M controls felt awkward at first, especially the sprint/vault being on the same key. Felt a little bit better with the 360 controller when I tried for a couple of minutes.
I didn't really like the other True Crime games.

Awesome.
I didn't know you could DD-1 all of that stuff either.
Revision3 has a lot of awesome shows. I hadn't been keeping up with their lineup lately so I never even knew about this one.

I met a guy years ago who was deaf (he was with some friends that had normal hearing) that had subs in one of those sleeper shells on his truck. My friends brother is deaf and he's had a system in everyone of his trucks, thought it was pretty cool. His Harley is ridiculously loud too haha.
@Meade: Are you sure they didn't misunderstand you when you told them to come back the next day?
i'm sure. We had to write every thing down on paper to communicate so there was no mistaking the time. I tried, i can't wait at the shop all day, i had things to do. I waited an extra hour.
KK. I had a feeling paper was involved.
Still awesome video regardless

Very professional.
I think I'll just have them do my install for me, whenever that comes around

In my case, it was my Netgear router doing this crap. Mainly the WAN port wouldn't stay up so I couldn't ping my modem (everything else on the router worked just fine), pushed reset button and it worked fine afterwards. Today my router kept throttling me for some reason (resets, power cycles, etc didn't help) plus I couldn't connect to it from my desktop, but the laptop worked fine. Had to leave for about an hour or two, and it was working fine when I got back. Here's the other part that happens lately. This will happen on all browsers and all devises also.
Whatever is up with my stuff or carrier is getting old.
it was either doing partial loads like that or wouldn't load the page at all. Bypassed the router and plugged straight into the modem and it worked just fine.

Type "about:addons" in the address bar to see plugins (Tools -> Addons, or just pressing Ctrl+Shift+A will work also)
To see the version and check for updates, click Help ( You might need to hit the Alt key for the menu to show up) -> About Firefox
Just reset my router and modem and it's working fine now.

As far as the stuff in your screenshots, from what I understand, it's just some CSS code that your version of the browser doesn't recognize, probably for older/different browsers).
Unplugging my router and modem for about 30 seconds helps, since sometimes it won't load anything (just says "connecting to [sitename]" for a long time, then fails).
I'm using the SMD Infinite Dark skin with the color selector set to black and the only plugins I'm running are AdBlock Plus, Flash, and Java.
Edit: there it goes. I go to post and only 1/3rd of the first sentence of this reply shows up (with html tags lol) after taking forever to finally load
-
I'm seeing similar stuff on my end also (I'm using Palemoon x64, which is a slightly modified version of Firefox, since FF doesn't have an official non-nightly 64-bit version)
I'm not seeing it on just SMD either. I'm thinking my ISP, modem, and router are derping from me downloading so much (installing stuff from Steam)

It's weird, because I go on www.discoverychannel.com and I don't even see the words "You Have been Warned" anywhere, not even in their "News" section where you would think they would have at least announced the new show coming out!
But I'm stoked for when it does come out! I'll search with my DVR each week I'm home from college!
I believe the show is only for their UK channel.

Pffft, who needs hydros when you have blown struts? XD

Agreed. That's one of the many reasons why I don't like passing on narrow back roads
Even on normal 2-lane highways, I don't like having to go into the oncoming lane to pass. What sucks even more is when the person you are trying to pass doesn't scoot over onto the shoulder (if there is one).
-
I bet that was weird.
Nice BII, btw. I have an '86, but my engine keeps derping.

How do you guys game with the same keyboard and mouse for htat long? Its usually hte mouse or keyboards fualt Im sucking and it goes for a ride.
I actually know quite a few pros that use a regular old plain jane microsoft intellimouse. Back when I gamed full time (think quake 2 era) I was ranked 82 on worldstats and I played with an MS mouse.
Most of the other Professional CSS players I know play with the same MS mouse as well.
i meant i usually break them lol.
Like this (starts at 0:30)?
I've never gotten that mad, lol

Whatever you do stay away from Razer. They have quality issues with all their products. Look into other brands such as Mionix, Ducky, Das, Deck, for keyboards. Mechanical keyboards are great for games and typing depending on what mx cherry color switch you get.
i have never had any issues with Razer products. i have had the same mouse for goin on 3 years . its even made it through almost deployments and is still going strong. i am not saying that razer is the best gaming hardware company out there but i do not think their product are all that bad. and you can get refurbished ones (just like i bought) for a decent price in the link i posted
I'm a few days late on this, but I'll throw in my 2 cents.
I have owned all of my Razer products for about 3+ years.
The only Razer product that I've had issues with was my Lycosa. It would sometimes act as if a key was stuck while playing games or it would start ignoring any key presses. All I had to do was unplug it and put it back in to fix it. Happens very rarely, though.
No issues with my Lachesis, other than the teflon feet falling off. By the time that happened, I had already receieved an Avatar S mouse from NZXT (got it in their big giveaway last year, along with a new rig). The only thing I miss about it is not having 9 buttons and an insanely high DPI (back when I bought the Lachesis, I only had a small area for my mouse, and there was no way in hell that I was going to buy a trackball).

according to UltimateLocator dot com there are three autorized dealers in my area, so it's a good chance these are real!
It could also have nothing to do with any local authorized dealers.
I've been to one of those traveling liquidation sales (had car audio gear, clothes, jewelry, etc). It was shady as hell though. They were trying to sell crap like Pyle for about 3 times the price, plus you had to pay to get in to shop in the first place. There were so many obvious knockoffs everywhere, but they did have some legitimate products.
I figured that I would throw that out there, just in case

They kind of remind me of the tire slashers on James Bond's Aston Martin DB5 from "Goldfinger"
I think they look ridiculous though
