I'm jealous. I want that rig
I've been wanting to watercool for a while, just either couldn't afford it or never got around to it when I did have the spare cash. Plus the thought of leaks scared me. My friends that were into it would always do the "24 hour leak test" before any hardware goes into the case, just to be absolutely sure, even though it probably wasn't necessary with their experience level.
I loved Stardock back in the WinXP days. I modded the hell out of Windows with their stuff. Cursors, boot screens, login screens, skins, themes, sounds, etc.

This build is looking sick Meade, especially now that it's all coming together.
Oh if anyone is wondering why i bought 2 mice, its because he likes that dumb ass side-ball type mouse. I hate it. So i got him both, in case someone else plays it they can use a good, normal one (although a gaming mouse)
He'll also have it just in case he ever decides to convert to a standard mouse.
I hate the trackball ones as well6400 DPI on that Mamba is crazy. I love my high DPI mice, and I'm to the point where I can't stand anything lower than about 800-1600 DPI, unless it's for precision work. I prefer 1600-4000 DPI myself (NZXT Avatar S and Razer Lachesis, respectively).

I still haven't stopped thinking about him and his family since I heard the news. I didn't even know him, but it feels like it's affecting me way more than even the deaths of some of my own relatives. I guess it's because of the way he went.

Humble Bundle is mostly indie games. This is the first time I've seen a major releases on it.
Too bad I already own most of those games (bought them during the recent Steam sale about a week ago). I have all of them except for the Company of Heroes games, since I'm not too interested in them.
IIRC, when they do the indie games, they have them for Windows, Linux, and Mac.
"Whored Mode" on Saints Row 3 is a hell of a lot of fun. I solo'd it (IDK if it's multiplayer). I haven't messed with the story mode much yet.
I haven't tried Red Faction: Armageddon yet, but I loved the hell out of Red Faction: Guerrilla (haven't finished it, but destroying stuff is so much fun
). I actually have a Red Faction Geurrilla developer t-shirt that the devs gave me in a giveaway, plus a key-chain (but it broke, )I haven't tried Darksiders yet.
I haven't gotten very far in Metro 2033 yet. I got a few "levels" in, but then I stupidly uninstalled my entire Steam directory (Steam was acting up so I decided to uninstall it, not realizing that it was going to erase ~250GB of installed games

If it can run without crashing firstdamn. I'm sure it can run Skyrim with heavy mods without dropping below 60FPS.

Since everyone else is telling you what you should build, I figured I would as well.
You should get a case that is off white, not bright white, not flat white, not antique white, but one that is egg shell white. It's what I would do when spending Chicken's money
pearl white with some flake in it.
Pearl pastel pink is Steve had any balls to do it

I'm using it right now. Metro (or whatever the name is now) takes a little bit of getting used to, but I'm actually to the point now, where I don't miss the Start menu at all.Nice rig, but windows 8? yuck. lol

Well no, not XP. I'm sure win 8 is fine. It's just you know, it was designed for a tablet and from what i have seen it doesn't translate all that well it a desktop. Not looking to start a debate on win 8.
Of course it's just an opinion and the only one that matters here is Chicken's since it's his rig. Plus, that rig looks like it will eat games for breakfast and take their lunch money while doing it!

Its still streaming Hulu and Netflix fine... I'm thinking it has something to do with the disk drive.

Wasn't there a patch released within the last couple of days? If so, could it be related to that patch?
IIRC, my 360 Pro did something similar with MW2 (including freezing mid-round) when it finally crapped out.

I like dropped cars, just not the stereotypical "lowriders". I used to think dropped duallies/trucks were dumb (part of that being influence of my dad since he doesn't like them
), but I actually like them now, especially after hanging out on here.I don't like the swanger/donk fad though, at all.

i think years ago, Chicken, who i made an admin because he "liked blue better", deleted himself one day trying to help out LOL
You could give him his own "group" so he can still be blue without risking admin functions so he can't do it again

My mouse wheel is too smooth to make it effective (NZXT Avatar S). If I start getting sweaty or the gap starts gumming up, my mouse wheel is pretty much useless. I might just order some new feet for my Lachesis and switch back to it (a couple of the feet fell off and got lost a while back).I just got it along with BO1 and BO2
Playing CoD with a keyboard and mouse feels so weird, since I'm used to playing on consoles lol. Still trying to get used to it. I keep trying to crouch and end up doing the diving prone, since I keep forgetting to change my keybinds lol
i make crouch the mouse wheel down and jump wheel up, click the middle mouse button is reload
then i switch the gamepad controls around so tacticals and lethals are on the left top 2 buttons
I might try that though. Right now I set melee to middle mouse, prone to C, crouch to Ctrl, G for lethals, H for tacticals, and switched right mouse to ADS (toggle ADS was getting annoying). I also set weapon switch to one of my side mouse buttons.
I prefer using Q for weapon switching (habit developed out of playing a lot of Counter-Strike: Source), but I'm not sure if I want to lose the leaning function yet, since there's only 2 weapons equipped. Move Use to E, lethals to F, and tacticals to G.
I haven't been doing too bad with the layout as I have it in the second line above. I actually had a few back to back matches where I went positive on (and top of the leaderboards on a few matches, but most of the players were the same)

The 7-7 one was me messing with an assault sniper build for an entire match the first time. A few other times I tried it, I went negative and got frustrated after a couple of deaths so I went back to a regular rifle class.
Highly unusual of me to be that consistent. I was beasting on my last match with them, but my router dropped my signal so I had to back out (so no screenshot
), then I had a couple more positive matches, then went straight negative for a few more, then quit. I did manage to bring my KDR up to 1.0 though. -

Finally got around to trying it (preordered on Steam and it just unlocked less than 24 hours ago).
I'm not too sure on the RPG-ish elements yet. The eye candy is pretty nice though. I'm just using the settings mine defaulted to. IDK if "optimal" is different depending on hardware configuration or not

I still haven't finished the first 2 games yet lol. I doubt they are related other than the graphics and taking place in jungles/Africa.
