  1. I forgot to mention that the other sub is working fine and never had a problem like this.

It can pivot on the metal thing circled in white.

The terminals circled in blue connect to other terminals on the opposite side of the sub.

The terminals circled in red ( the ones Im having the problem with, specifically the negative terminal) are connected to the sub box terminals that connect to the amp.

  2. what is the name and model of the amp.

also have you had the problem before you switched the terms

Im not sure, there are two amps in the car, one is under the driver seat and the other under the passenger seat. I cant see what the model numbers are on them and there bolted down and I dont really want to rip them out if I dont have to.

And ya it burnt out the one terminal so I switched it to the other one and now it burnt out that one.

  3. Hey guys, finally joined the site, been browsing around for a while, but I have come across a problem and I hope I can get some help with it. One of my subs keeps going out on me, I originally fixed it by switching the terminals on the sub, but it looks like both are burnt. Im trying to figure out what is causing this, I attached some pictures to show what I mean.

Are they being overpowered, I bought this car with everything in it, so I'm not sure on the specs of the amp, but the subs are 1000 W peak 500 RMS
