I had 3 people argue that one guys Power Acoustik BAMF 5500 did rated power. What I know about that amp is that it does maybe 2300 to 2400 watts at 1 ohm on a good electrical system...so not even close to rated. They had the nerve to say my A 3500.1D would not do rated. As what I can tell my AQ should do 3500 to 4300 watts at 1 ohm on my upgraded electrical (3 runs of 0/1 power and ground OFC wire, 350 amp alt, and Stinger SPP2250).
They were wanting to sale me the BAMF...
Will the AQ do close to rated?

As AMI has stated these subs are underrated, they will handle the AQ fine. Don't clip your amp!
Oh yeah, the amp will be set with a DMM. Thanks
-
Yeah those are some best... the quad coils. I have the dual coil Mojos...but like others have mentioned above it looks like even these are underrated quite a bit.I have 15 inch M3MOJO quad voice coil subs on a kicker zx2500.1 and they can take 2 of them. They're extremely under rated.

For daily in the right enclosure they can handle 2500 watts no problem, on burp double that.
Gotcha. I do not have the LVS our the quad coil ones. The ones I have are the 15-M3MOJO12. Link below.

These can really handle up to 2500 watts daily in the right enclosure?
-
I have a few of these and never really found out how much power the Mojos can take (orange basket). I know they are rated at 1000RMS/2000 peak. I heard they do more than rated...anyone know for sure?

You should be plenty fine after rise with 3 subs
What would my amp rise be? When I wire all of the subs up I get 1.37 ohms on my multimeter
-
You will be fine, two of those subs can handle that amp at .5 ohm daily just sayin.
Thanks. How much power can each of those subs really handle? BTW, nice alternator setup

I want to run my AQ3500.1D on 3 memphis 15-M3MOJO12 wired down to 1 ohm (1.33 ohms). They are rated at 1000 rms and 2000 peak. The AQ3500.1D can do around 4300 at 1 ohm. Will that be the right power or too much power. I have heard that those Mojo subs do more than rated (1000/2000)..any advice? Thanks

I plan on running them on 3 Memphis Mojo's (1000/2000)(orange basket) wired down to 1 ohm. What do you think?
-
Tenney Alternator. I used a 270 amp Mechman before, but chose to get a stronger alt. I've used Mechman and DC power in the past and have been very pleased with this alt
-
considering the aq will output well over twice the power, yes.
i hope you have electrical upgrades done. like, an alternator and batteries.
Yeah, I have a 350 amp alternator under the hood...yellowtop uder the hood...and a Stinger SPP2250 (that damn thing is a beast)

Cool I'll fuse both runs with 200 amp fuses. What did you run? I am replacing my Power Acoustik BAMF 5500 with the AudioQue 3500.1D...do you think it'll be a big difference?
lol
What? LOL

I used 200 amp fuses on each run going to the amp.
Oh you had a AQ 3500.1D?
-
So you are saying to put 150 amp fuses on each (2 total) that run to the amp?
-
Hey, trying to see if someone could help me on fusing mu Audioque 3500.1D. I already have 3 runs of 0/1 running from the front battery to the rear battery fused w/ 300 amp fuses. Now , the amp has to positive and negativepower wire inputs going into it. It is rated for a 380 amp fuse. A rep at AQ said that I would very seldom draw a 380 amps and that I can use a 250 amp or 300 amp fuse with it. my question is, since it has two separate positives going into the amp...would I wire each side with 150 amp fuses or 200 amp fuses???? Thx
AudioQue 3500.1D rated power question?

That's what I thought about the AQ...thanks for the info.
