ok i just wanted to avoid tearing down my box inside my car and having to rebuild inside the car. thats why i asked. only reason i am going to dc is the customer service is some much faster then ssa

yea i did read everything you wrote. I was just asking questions. kinda figured that the ssa xcon and the xl would be around the same size boxes

I cant add u to my friend list in you facebook but with your rear seat of your lex you should try to have a custom rear seat so you could have a hole in like a arm rest area. So maybe a little more air can flow threw. Not sure if it would matter much but just throwing out a idea.

Ok stupid question. Do you use a eq? My friend swears by it and i shit you not he has his cd player up to close to 50 (max is 60) and uses the eq for his volume? He thinks he is loud as hell and puts me down with my little non eq system. I am running a 2010 kemwood deck. ( the best you can get before a dvd/navigation deck) a 1800 watt mono block amp and a ssa xcon 12inch d2 sub. 3 xs power batteries and a dc alt. My box was built from the ssa company and tuned at 32hrtz. Is a eq worth running?
