Oh yea I forgot to mention it would be set with a dd-1... it's that ive seen the video steve posted of this amp and it's crazy just how much power it can make so im hesitant on buying it and blowing the subs..
-
Would a ct sounds 1400.1d be too much for a pair of sa8v2's to handle? The box is 2.2 cu ft with a 4in aero port tuned to 35hz and of course the gains will be set with a dd-1
-
-
-
How do they handle tho?
-
Damn that little thing is bad ass
-
-
i love the kicks you can't even tell they are there cuz they aren't bulky
-
wow this is just unacceptable on so many levels i would be pissed if i paid someone to do an install and it looked like that .. more than likely he will come back and have the box redone with you.. i would because it probably isnt even made right after seeing this installing you have to question everything in this car
-
that's good to hear lol but once you do it a few times it comes easy after that
-
im just saying because his questions are answered in the manual it just sounds like he is just going off the videos and not the booklet
-
if you don't have it download it on this link
-
that would be a nice chunk of change for him to give that kind of thing away. Plus he won't just give his personal set out cuz later on these devices will be worth a fortune since they revolutionized the car audio tools . I wouldn't give them out if it was me cuz they will mean alot to me and to just give them out no lol
Not a bad idea.Give that shit away next SOTM !

That's a really nice case for the tools u got there looks really legit
-
I wouldn't if might sound muffled still only way to know is try it out lol
-
make sure u get some good grills cuz those subs could rubWell right on. I think im gonna try 2 12s under the back seat.
-
I had 12's under the back seat but not in a Ford, in a silverado u can put 12's in a sealed box but in a Ford the airspace is way smaller so u don't many options unless u do another type of box like u said
-
Damn bro lol its crazy how some people don't read your post carefully and assume this is a vs. thread when u made it clear its not lol and then they try and say ur breaking a rule when recently a moderator told people to be helpful to new members or just don't post.. People are quick to say your breaking a rule but don't check themselves
But anyways I have a pair of sa-8v2's and these bad boys take just about anything u throw at them, they get low considering they are only 8's. I haven't put my truck on a termlab but they flex my truck like crazy. I'm sure any sundown 8 will preform good in the right box good luck

its that people need something to blame , they just don't want to take the time to actually diagnose or say it was user error so they blame something that they don't know abouthow are dd1`s messing up amps? i have used mine in alot amps from cheap to expensive amps and i never had any issues. i went to a local car show and i pulled out my dd1 showing a friend and people at the comp had me set there amps with it everyone was happy. so whoever "claims" the dd1 screwed there amps are totally bogus user error.the only amp i couldnt tune was a warhorse and after researching the warhorse i found out y.

That looks freakin sweet!

Same here not worried tho I'm sure it will get fixed soon

that's what I'm talking about I agree with u..That first video of the cop being pulled over doing 120mph just proves they are above the law.
He walked away with a minor misdemeanor, in almost every state going 20mph over the speed limit is automatic license lost, let alone doing a 120, that is reckless driving, reckless endangerment, felony fleeing since he did not pull over or even acknowledge the officer chasing him lane for lane right behind him, in a company vehicle and he still has his job (cop or not, thats abusing your powers), and Im sure Im missing a few things that a normal civilian would have been sited for, whoops I almost forgot speeding.... To make it all better he was off duty and had to go play security guard, perfect reason.................
But he got a minor misdemeanor, a slap on the wrist, kept his job, no points on his drivers license.
You cant say that he is not above the law, because any normal person would be behind bars for couple months.

im sorry but they enforce what they want to enforce and do things that they would be giving us a ticket or arresting but they get away with things because there's no one to enforce the laws with them..when was the last time anyone has seen a cop get a ticket and I've seen cops break hella laws on no call just doing what they want cuz they canProblem is you seem to tolerate it and be ok with all of that, im not but then again i know i cant do a thing to them but Dorner decided they werent getting away with what they did to him.
What im getting at is with no change these things will continue, im done with this since itll be old news soon so im out like NWA said.....
no i wouldnt tolerate being harassed, that's why i don't break the law lol
i understand what you are saying but most times its our own faults we get what we get.
but i do think cops(not all) think they are the hot shit that can do anything they want, i see them breaking the law all the time and they are there to enforce it not break it too
sa8-v2's on ct sounds 1400.1d
