i just got it checked, my alternator is fucked up. i need to replace it now... oh god.

It probably doesnt run directly to the battery, it probably is fused off somewhere and the wire changes from there.

Probably just a shitty battery. That black wire with the red stripe is the power wire connected to the battery.

I was wondering how I would run both amps off 1 bass knob like Meade's setup??
I saw something on Rockford's site saying something about a bd sync cable, is for strapping them??or is that what I will need or something different????

I think what you have to do is, on the amps I think there is a master and a slave switch. Set one switch to master and the other amp to slave. Plug the bass knob into the master amp and it will control both amps.

Thanks man, amp got way too hot today and decided I'm not going to have anymore beat untill I decide what the fuck is wrong with my electrical. First the fuse holder melting and now the amp gets incredibly hot, running at 1 ohm or .5 ohms, I don't know what to do.
What type of fuse holder are you using? I had a cheap ass one in my car and I melted the fucker, than I bought a stinger fuse holder and never had any problems.

I am looking for a cheap reliable car to get me to and from work. I have $1000. I started a new job and I need my own vehicle, my yukon will suck up to much gas for my wife to drop me off than her go to work, than drive all the way back and pick me up. and pick my daughter up. Once in a while a bird will crap on my car or a leaf will fall on it and set it off, but I haven't had any real problems after getting all the initial kinks worked out. I had a problem with the rear door lock not locking with the alarm, but it was just stupid thing with the subs rattling the lock- got that fixed. I park my vehicle with the rear hatch pressed up against something (as close as the hitch will allow anyway) that way if they try to do a quick job they can't get the hatch open, and the box wont fit out any other way. It's right below the window where I sleep, and I keep the remote and a pistol right next to me as I sleep.

Damn, really sensitive, a leaf would set your shit off. I have the Viper 791 and I have the sensitivity turned up all the way and my shit doesnt get set off that easy. Where would be the best place to mount that shock sensor? I have a 03 Yukon XL.

I found a suburban with 26's, basically this is what mine would look like but with u2-55's instead. they will stick out just a tad further also because the U2-55 have a +13 offset and these in the pic are a +18.
Can I roll the rear fenders or will there still not be enough room to tuck?

oh, and no updates.....i partied with my peeps this weekend and had a birthday show-and-tell right before that.......(long story) anyway, sunday i woke up feeling fine (even though i was hammered saturday) but then Oki came by again, then Jack, then a few other people so i hardly caught a break at all this weekend. Its all good, back to normal again, ill have updates as soon as i do something.

I think it would be hard to put it behind a beauty panel since it still has to be filled every now and then.

I found somebody in the Sacramento area that is selling his U2-55 24's with tires that still have alot of tread left for $1600. I might consider those in a month or so.

Does your hood close fine, that batt is sitting pretty high.
