  1. There are three levers marked 1, 2, & 3. You flip the levers in that order to fold the seats.

Do you just want to lay the back down or pull the whole seat? First you lift lever 1 and fold the back down, and then I think you lift up on lever 2 which will cause the seat to fold all the way forward, than you remove the seat my lifting #3. Its pretty damn easy, I think my daughter could do it.

  2. my guess would be the vehicles owner, cause some of the folks on here seem to throw it in his face how much money hes got, how great his life must be, and then proceed to tell him how they think he should spend it. I would get tired of it after a while too if I was in that position. We all love to see the progress of the hoopty, but ultimately what gets done to it and how it gets paid for is between steve and chicken. What chicken buys with his money is purely chickens decision, and perhaps it got a little to personal for him. No one needs to know about his personal life or his list of possessions and He doesn't need to offer an explanation to any one as to the way he sees fit to using his checkcard or whatever.

No offense to steve or chicken at all..... just seemed like it was time some one said it without pointing any fingers.

  3. maybe try that now with the JL's...... :)

I think the only downside really to my kicks is they really don't get "LOUD". They are clean as hell though. If you can fit the 6 and 4 in your door why not step up to an 8" in the door and pair of 5.25 components in the kick or A-Pillars. It'll give you a nice mid bass kick with that 8 and the 5.25 components will be more than loud enough. MPO.

I would try that but if I remove the 4" out of the door there is gonna be a hole where it was mounted.

  4. yea i probably should...well the first one (the one im being sued for) was definitely my fault. i was driving and glanced to my right for about 2-3 seconds and rear ended a kia with 2 passengers in it. The driver wasnt even hurt but the passenger broke his collarbone. HOWEVER they had tent poles in their back seat which flew up and hit the passenger in the back of the head (there was a circle mark)...the paramedic noted this to me and said he wouild be glad to testify that they failed to restrain the objects in their car...Now this new accident there was nothing i couldve done differently to avoid it..He was flying over the hill though i cannot prove it...

If you havnt gone to court yet, take the paramedic with you. If the judge is smart at all he will laugh in the people face about the million. Also if the judge is smart he will just have you pay that one guys medical bills.

  5. I got the JL 3-way set, and a the moment I am a little unsettled with them too. When I heard them at the shop I was impressed, but I have my 6.5" in the door and the other two in the dash up against the a pillar.... The sound needs to be better.. I just found out that a place called wicked CAS does make some A pillar pods for the FJ cruiser and a few guys on the FJ cruiser forums have them with my components and they are really happy with them, so when the tax check shows up I am gonna shell out the 270 bucks and get them , they look really good and the 4" stays in the dash with the 6.5" in the pillar. ( the FJ A-pillars are really - REALLY - wide ) then I can get my 6x9's back in the front doors , along with a new sundown 4 ch. amp to power it all. I think then I will have it about where I want it....

$270 is cheap for pillars. for my yukon, its like $800 just for them to mod my pillars to accept a 4" and a tweet just like steves.

  6. You might want to ge that 4" away from the 6.5" or make a seperat enclosure or baffle for it. I listened to the JL Audio 3-way and didn't like it either. Thats how I ended up with the MB Quarts

I am thinking about running CDT Audio 3-ways, but mount the 4" and tweet in the kick panels, and buy there upstage tweet and mount it in the a pillars.
