What about lowering it 3/4 or a 2/3?
-
Can I do a 3/5 Drop on the 26's or do a 2/3? I have a 03 Yukon XL 2wd
-
Copying steve?
I have always like the U2-55's even before steve put them on his tahoe. I have always wanted to put 26's.
-
I hope this is in the right section but I called today and I got quoted $3899 for Rims and Tires. they are the U2-55 26's. If somebody can get me a better price let me know.

my guess would be the vehicles owner, cause some of the folks on here seem to throw it in his face how much money hes got, how great his life must be, and then proceed to tell him how they think he should spend it. I would get tired of it after a while too if I was in that position. We all love to see the progress of the hoopty, but ultimately what gets done to it and how it gets paid for is between steve and chicken. What chicken buys with his money is purely chickens decision, and perhaps it got a little to personal for him. No one needs to know about his personal life or his list of possessions and He doesn't need to offer an explanation to any one as to the way he sees fit to using his checkcard or whatever.
No offense to steve or chicken at all..... just seemed like it was time some one said it without pointing any fingers.

Sounds cool

maybe try that now with the JL's......
I think the only downside really to my kicks is they really don't get "LOUD". They are clean as hell though. If you can fit the 6 and 4 in your door why not step up to an 8" in the door and pair of 5.25 components in the kick or A-Pillars. It'll give you a nice mid bass kick with that 8 and the 5.25 components will be more than loud enough. MPO.
I would try that but if I remove the 4" out of the door there is gonna be a hole where it was mounted.

yea i probably should...well the first one (the one im being sued for) was definitely my fault. i was driving and glanced to my right for about 2-3 seconds and rear ended a kia with 2 passengers in it. The driver wasnt even hurt but the passenger broke his collarbone. HOWEVER they had tent poles in their back seat which flew up and hit the passenger in the back of the head (there was a circle mark)...the paramedic noted this to me and said he wouild be glad to testify that they failed to restrain the objects in their car...Now this new accident there was nothing i couldve done differently to avoid it..He was flying over the hill though i cannot prove it...
If you havnt gone to court yet, take the paramedic with you. If the judge is smart at all he will laugh in the people face about the million. Also if the judge is smart he will just have you pay that one guys medical bills.

I remember my first system, 2 JVC 12's and a 1200 watt JVC amp from the swapmeat. They sounded cool for a couple of days till the blew up.
-
Also when you work overtime, they take a shit load from you. My old boss worked like 20 hours of overtime one week and he got paid $60 an hour. When he got his check they took almost $2000 out of his check. But thats what he said I have no way to confirm it.

been there it was funwhile i was 17-19, im only 28 now but its alot nicer to come home to someone every day and know that you can trust them and they trust you, and theres never any petty drama.

My question is, how can they sue you for $500,000 each person for a car accident. What exactly happened in the accident.

I got the JL 3-way set, and a the moment I am a little unsettled with them too. When I heard them at the shop I was impressed, but I have my 6.5" in the door and the other two in the dash up against the a pillar.... The sound needs to be better.. I just found out that a place called wicked CAS does make some A pillar pods for the FJ cruiser and a few guys on the FJ cruiser forums have them with my components and they are really happy with them, so when the tax check shows up I am gonna shell out the 270 bucks and get them , they look really good and the 4" stays in the dash with the 6.5" in the pillar. ( the FJ A-pillars are really - REALLY - wide ) then I can get my 6x9's back in the front doors , along with a new sundown 4 ch. amp to power it all. I think then I will have it about where I want it....
$270 is cheap for pillars. for my yukon, its like $800 just for them to mod my pillars to accept a 4" and a tweet just like steves.
-
You might want to ge that 4" away from the 6.5" or make a seperat enclosure or baffle for it. I listened to the JL Audio 3-way and didn't like it either. Thats how I ended up with the MB Quarts
I am thinking about running CDT Audio 3-ways, but mount the 4" and tweet in the kick panels, and buy there upstage tweet and mount it in the a pillars.
-
that is if he had enough insurance...
true. thats why I roll full coverage.
-
I have been to both costco's here and nether one sell car audio at all.
-
Did you have insurance? If so I dont think they can sue you for shit.
-
I have JL 3-ways in my yukon, and I am not happy with the sound, the 6.5" and 4" are in the front doors and the tweets are in the a pillars.

I own 2 12w7's. They sound good dont get me wrong if they are in a good built box. but for the money I would go elsewhere. You could get 2 BTL 18's for like $100 more than the 12w7.
-
I hope you installed front shocks with those bags. my buddy told me that the shop forgot to install the front shocks on his denali when he got it bagged, and he said while he was driving the car bounced around like a bitch. he took it back and they installed the shocks and the problem stopped.

Alright, I just finished setting the gains and shit on my amps with my meter, and I had the speakers unplugged. After I reconnected the speakers the thump is gone right now. Ill test it out later when I go pick my wife up later and see if it comes back.

This isnt my model deck but if you scroll down to the bottom of the page, thats how the rear of my deck looks like.

My deck is completly diffrent. I have Front, Rear and Subwoofer output. so I have the 3 Cables running off the back of my deck. than my JL RCA plug into those cables.
How Do You Fold The Third Rows Seats In A 04 Escalade

Do you just want to lay the back down or pull the whole seat? First you lift lever 1 and fold the back down, and then I think you lift up on lever 2 which will cause the seat to fold all the way forward, than you remove the seat my lifting #3. Its pretty damn easy, I think my daughter could do it.
