ended up getting the SDA 2 days ago.....went down to buy the pearl which would cost me $250 and the manager offered me the SDA for $80 bucks since they are trying to get rid of them so i went with that....i dont like the way it looks at all but its a pretty cool little phone and i like the options. now it says it will work on rockfords site but i have been hearing mixed opions from different people.....will the sda work on the rockford three sixtys

okay im looking for 1 or 3 amps to push 3 12" BL's with p-chamfer options so im thinking 1200-1300 rms per sub. customer doesnt have much money to spend and would like to get a model that has a matching four channel amp if possible but if the 4-channel has to be different from the sub amp(s) then thats ok. again want to keep it cheap but dont want pieces of shit...any suggestions???? oh and it doesnt matter if they are 1 ohm or 2 ohm stable havnt got the subs yet.

wierd....the ssds i just installed wired to one ohm come out at .8 and .7

they said since the amp is still under their warranty i have to include a money order for 15 dollars to cover shipping back and pay to ship it there and they will fix it..... they said from the time i send it off i should have it back in about 2 weeks or so. and i dont really think it was electrical.... i mean its not as high as it should be.. he still has stock alt so its right at 13v but its pretty steady there. the lowest it dropped was about 12.8-12.7 and that was after we played it for a long time with the car just sitting.

thats wat i was guessing but i wasnt sure never strapped amps before.....i think were just gonna end up tradding amps though since i can wire the ssds to 1.4 for two of em im pretty sure i can only go to .7 and like 3.5 or something like that cant remember. but my audiobahn amp is .5 ohm stable so were gonna see if it pushes all 4 of em.

so say i strapped the amps and wired all the subs together....i think i would be able to wire them to 1.4 ohms.....the manual says wire to 2ohms but it doesnt say not to go below or above that. since the amps are 1 ohm stable would wiring to 1.4 work???? or will it not since they are strapped?

i thought these amps didnt go into protect mode if wired to low?

idk i would run a fully loaded bl of that but i think thats kinda pushin it with a q. and just incase if you were plannin on running that amp at .7 ohms it will NOT handle it. i just found that out the hard way.

so is that for sure the result of wiring at .7 ohms??? if so will power acoustik be able to tell that it was wiried to low?

it turns on....the fan comes on....but it heats up pretty fast and it no sound comming out.....no protect light or anything

kinda hard to see but everything in about a 6" away from the power/ground inputs is completely fried and at least half if not completely melted down........now my question is since its right by the power inputs would this still be cause by wiring the subs to .7 ohms??????? or was it just a defect.....cause i know they probably wouldnt go out at the same time but the amplifier is still fine well for now anyways.

idk if anyone would know or not but im not real familliar with power acoustik amps. if i took the back off of one to try and repair it would this void the warranty through power acoustik or there is a 3 year warranty on the amp from beachaudio.com where it was ordered could it affect this warranty too??????

dont really know much about those subs but at 33hz it should beat pretty good.

same here....i have never had any problems with them except for the last time.....i was so pissed.

ya i think it depends on what it is.....some of the stuff looked high some of the prices looked average.

well meade switched from mts to btls and didnt go switch back.....im assuming there is a reason for that.....like the btls are better.

Ill talk to the guy and see what i can do....he is pretty cheap with his money so he isnt gonna be givin stuff away for cost like im getting but ill check out what he sells it for and let everyone know.
