  1. ive used these plenty of times and i think they are better then t-nuts. if you just putting a bolt into it then sure it could possibly back it out when you loosen it, but of course that would be pointless. the point is to bolt something down which means there will be something over top of it which is bolted down to it. with there being something on top of it it cant come out cause in order for it to unscrew it will start to rise outta the wood its in, which it cant cuz there is somthing over top of it. as long as you dont drill to big of a hole to put it in they will be more then sturdy enough. usually the package they come in says on the back what size hole to drill.

  2. ok . when ur tring to start it does it back fire at all?? if not the timing should be fine.. not meaning to step on anyones toes here ... ill almost be its bad gas ... gas goes degrade its self with in a month ... so rule of thumb is if it was 92 octane u have about 2 months or alittle more before it looses octane an now is 87 octane ... now if u put in 87 within a month ull have 80 or less and depending on compression ratio most of cars today dont like to fire on anything less that 80 ... i see u said u added fuel stabil .. but honestly it wont do anything after the fuel has already lost its octane rating ... ur best bet is to drain all the fuel u can by either diconnecting the fuel line closest to the engine as possible or finding the fuel filter (and replace if u can i highly recommend it) and just use the fuel pump to discharge the fuel into a container at the fuel filter by turning on and off the ignition if the fuel pump shuts off... then get urself some fresh gas and as much as u can to help dilote the remaining old fuel that is still in the system ...if that doesnt help hit me up and we'll go from there

no back firing at all, it just cranks and cranks, one time while i was cranking it it almost started and turnover on its own but then died and now it doesnt do that even it just cranks but will not start. im gonna drain all the gas out and replace the fuel filter and try that and ill let you know

    Thanks, JC

  3. Check the distributor I have a buddy from school with an older toyota and he went thru a simmilar problem he didnt fix his he ran it over with his truck. On a serious not though that was what was wrong with his he didnt end up fixing but that might give you a place to start.

well like i said its getting a spark to all 4 plugs. the wires are all in the right spot and order on the block and the distributor so unless the timing is off i dont think this would be it? could be wrong but do you think the timing or something could be off from it just sitting? this car has never had any probs and like i said and it ran and started perfect last time she drove it.

  4. k my girlfriend bought a 1990 celica gt 2.2l a few years back. her mom took it from her and my girls name wasnt on the title so there was nothing she could do. we finally got the title transfered from her mom so i trailered the car to my house after it sitting in her parents backyard for a year and a half. I cant get it to start. it ran perfect last time she drove it but like i said its been sitting for a year and a half. its def getting gas can smell it commin out the exhaust when it cranking and even inside the car. i pulled all the plug wires and they spark so its def getting ignition. i dont know a ton about engines but wtf else would keep this from starting??? the only thing thats been changed on it since it last ran is a new battery and new airfilter. HELP!!!!!!!!

  5. i went through the process of buying a bike about 6 months ago. It was down to an 2006 kawi ZX6R or and 06 GSX-R 600. i ended up getting the zx6r after talking with str86diesel, listen to him he knows what he is talking about. i have a good friend thats been riding gsxr600's for about 4 years now and i have 3 other friends that have owned gsxr 600's for about a year. we swap bikes alot and everytime i ride there's i hate them more. my friend thats been on em for 4 years used to love them. he used to say if he couldnt ride a gsxr he would ride at all. hes got gsxr tattoed on him. and after riding my bike more and more, he ended up buying a 08 zx6r about 2 months ago and loves it. im not saying this to say get a zx6r but more or reasons not to get a gsxr. my girls brother has an 05 r6, and to me it actually feels similar to the zx6r except it sits a little lower. it would be my next and only other choice for a bike if i didnt have a zx6r.

  6. i highly doubt it would effect anything that much. i hear that from alot of people that i talk to about it. but everyone i ever talked to that have done it and actually knows what there talking say it doesnt make a diff. i mean i talked to this one guy at a local show that had a silverado w/ dual alts. he said it was the alts slowing his truck down. i said or maybe its the the 20 15's in the bed along with the box that made out of 3 layers of mdf!!?!!

  7. personally i dont like the new alpine stuff. the older stuff i liked alot but havent been that impressed with some of the new decks. I have maily alwasy run pioneer. I like the new ones alot however i dont know how its gonna do with your skipping problem. i did a build in a civic a while back with 2 18" btls and 2 t40001bds. went through 2 different brand new pioneers, a clarion, new alpine, and a eclipse they all started skipping after about 5 or 10 secs of play when its only have way up. I did like the new pioneers using an ipod though. the only 2 decks we finally found that wouldnt skip were my pioneer N1 that was in there for testing only and the current deck thats in there, Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X792. ive used a couple other models of the kenwood eXcelons in recent installs and im really starting to like them alot.

  8. You're going to need to buy a domain, and then find a web host so they can host your website for you. So you need to buy your webspace.

Then you need to design, build/code, and maintain your website.

So after you buy your domain and webhosting, you need to design you whole layout in photoshop (or something similar), then cut up and code your layout (in Dreamweaver or something similar), then upload all of that to your website. Then of course you have to add all of your text and that stuff...

There are sooooo many things you need to do to build, run, and maintain a website. If you have no idea what you are doing, then it will be mighty tough to get it all right. I hope you understand HTML and maybe some PHP... CSS...

If you don't have any idea what its all about... It's no small task. Just a heads up.

Maybe look into a free webhost, and expirament on one first, just to see what its all about.

    Good luck

i know what im doing with computers, just dont know what steps need to be taken in what order to get a website going. what are some places you would recomend for domain and web hosting???

  9. i would have to say go with 8 15s. thats my next setup. 4 18s ported PWNS too dont get me wrong. but the little more care area might suprise u. what kind of sealed enclosure are u doing??? and how much space do u have to work with? how much power do u have? lots will determine what u should or shouldnt do.

got about 24 cubes after displacement if the box was a big cube. to fit 8 15's im obviously gonna have to do a diamond, clamshell or somehting similar to the hoopty and thats gonna cut down on my airspace. i have about 8000rms to work with
