well my brother inlaw was talking with one of the guys at sonic.. and he didnt know anything about Meade.. or the Hoopty.. he was saying that NO car can handle the t15k.. let alone two.. it was funny to hear that.. we tried to tell him to check out this site.. but didnt budge.. ohwell.. jus thought id share that..

well caraudio is gonna have to wait for a bit im gettin a house built.. BUT as soon as its done i get a raise.. gonna be makin about 15 an hr.. and then i can get whatever i want.. im thinkin bout doin a clean system.. all alpine hopefully.. type r componants and 6x9s alpine 1000watt amp and type r 10.. unless anyone can put together a better system .. for around the same price.. be pretty sweet..

Depends on the drivers, tuning and power used i guess, should sound good with some decent gear.
i was thinkin kicker cvr 8's and a kicker 400.1

yeah i was thinkin about doin an 8 but i wanna show people around here its not about the size or how much power, cuz all the kids round here have 15's in prefab boxes.. with amps they say are 2 or 3 thousand watts.. i had two type r 12's with viper 600d that was louder then alot of systems.. it was great..

well i ditched the ed setup. and im now gonna go with all kicker for my system. which will consist of kicker components, kicker 6x9's kicker amp and kicker CVT 6.5 in a t-line.
heres the design i came up with.

its huge for a 6.5.. 36 13/16 x 19 3/4 x 8 1/2. lol.. my box for two 12's was 32x19x14

should i use 3/4 mdf or 1/2 inch.. i have two quarts of resin for strengthening .. since its just a 6.5 prlly gonna be gettin maybe 200 to 250 watts.. should i jus use 1/2...

yeah i miss that setup.. i actually had a shop build it.. when i bought the subs.. since i worked there for 6months i got a discount.. cuz at the time i was too scared to build a box myself..

type r's have jumpers already if you have the newer 12's.. i had the same ones..

oh yeah.. its a T-line for an elemental designs 7kv.3 or however its spellt.. the eu-700 ran off a directed d600 at 2ohms for 250 or 300 watts
