those things have def. proved themselves to me. What an impressive protection circuit.
I would like to know whats going inside those 25th anniv. models!
-Each amp at .5 ohms just like my sundowns (same wiring on the dual amp single woofer strap)
-156 legal (156.4 later that night) with three out of 4 of the 15's on
-amps have not been matched perfectly yet
-woofers have not all broken in
-wall still has not been sealed off
-no deadening yet
-batteries were uncharged
This is one painful ride to sit in!
and yes i did say only three out of four of his 15s were on...

Everything in the eclipse runs excellent right now. With the cookie cutter 200A alt I have in for right now I don't see anything below 13V driving and the car will bassrace the 149 class all day turned off without the woofers even starting to warm up. It still mindfucks me when the cones are cold after more then 5 runs. If I have time to shave everything on the car and paint it black I would like to do that before the season starts. I should finally have time to start my box with the two 8" ports I have.

working on a trunk car for the girlfriend to run 129 and 139 class with two type R 15's I had around the house.
Eclipse has plenty of legroom in the 149.9 class now.
I am more then ready for these shows this year.

well figure this, in a perfect world 100 % power gain should be plus 3DB (so 25% power gain would equal .75db right there) as far as cone area is concerned it works on the same scale with cone area (so another .75 db then)
So at min. we should anticipate a 1.5db gain and it certainly isn't a perfect world now is it?

we gotta seal the wall off
deaden
charge
add a second alt.
dial amps in
break woofers in the match the coils
and find our new freq with that sub in (should go up to 49 or 50 instead of 48)
