  1. well I forgot to mention that I want 2 subs per enclosure and I listen mostly to rap. Can u really tell the difference in tuning between lets say 32Hz and 34Hz
  2. Well I dont necessarily have to use the entire cargo area, I was just letting it be known that I can if i have too.
  3. what makes you say im under powering the subs, they are 750 rms and my Hifonics is 2000 rms, and im aware that sum say the hifonics are overrated but i figure im at least get 1500 rms out of it
  4. I have an 03 Tahoe, and im willing to use the entire cargo area for my system. I have 4-12" Kicker CVXs and 2 Hifonics Bxi2006D amps. This will be a daily driver. I would like to know should I go sealed or ported and if so plz give details like tuning frequencies and volume. I have done sealed and ported with just 2 of the subs but my sealed box was undersized so I cant really say which setup would be louder.
  5. Ok well first off I wasnt needing advice on how to design a box. I was just wanting to know why would you build a box bigger than manufactor specs. But I currently have 2 12" Kicker CVX subs and Hifonics Brutus BXi2006D. My current box is 4.5cuft @ approx. 33Hz. And I have a tahoe so size isnt an issue, just wondering why would one build the box bigger.
  6. I have a pair of Kicker CVX 12s. The website has a maximum vented airspace of 2.25cuft and a maximum sealed airspace of 4.6cuft. First off those numbers almost seem backwards to me. Then I have seen people with enormous enclosures. Why would I want to build an enclosure to lets say 4cuft for a ported enclosure assuming Im just using one sub? And also what would be the difference in me building lets say a 2cuft sealed enclosure versus the 4.6cuft enclosure again assuming im using one sub.
