  2. Level 5 Performance?

    Saw the pictures in my last thread and they definitely look beastly, but is the dramatically increased price tag worth it? Are you actually paying for alot more performance than the level 4, or just paying for a 80 lb flashy motor? I am really interested in this product and even discussed it with Rusty, but I am just curious how it differs. From what I understand when motors get that big they loose efficiency. I read it was due to the slugs being stacked up repeatedly and something about parabolic magnetic force escaping and the magnetic flux being capped easily with a single slug (which increases efficiency of the motor by alot). Honestly, I am no speaker builder though, so I have no idea. My main question is, for the money and the big huge motor, is the level 5 really a great sub?

    I have also been wondering the same thing. When i saw the scores for the testing of the level 4, level 4xl and the level 5, i was a little dissapointed that the level 5 wasnt the loudest, it could have also been because it needs more power but idk.

    im glad he helped you, glad you got some products you liked, i DONT like him, we have butted heads alot, and he awlays ends up bein a douche, and i havnt done anything to him yet, just "brainstorming"

    Logan he was giving you advice on your RE components thread, and so where 30 other people, yet you REFUSED all advice and basically said fuck you to them. Try listening to him for once, you may be surprised, he has a great head on his shoulders.

    well so far plan is 0 guage wiring throughout, 300 amp ohio generator alt,2 powermaster d3100 in the back and a powermaster d2400 under the hood and this will be pushing a 3000 watt sundown amp and one of there 4 channel amps..

    Nice. But I mean what ohm load.

    i feel ya man

    my parents are divorced and i live fulltime wit my dad

    and the only reason my cunty mom isnt married

    is so she can keep having the gravy train of money flow in....damn alimony

    and wtf does she spend it on?!?!? FUCKIN GAMBLING!!!!! not my sister(who lives full time wit her)

    can u believe it....

    and she wonders where the fuck her money goes.

    hope they dont get a penny more from you

    its your money, you earned it, you keep it.

    but make sure your kids have food on the table there.

    o and my dads lost close to 1,000,000 with the divorce

    from buying her out of his own house, to giving her cars he just bought....
