  1. finally got my box to fit in the back of my truck, no it's not finished yet. but i did wire it up and this is by far the hardest hitting 18" i have EVER heard in my life. hair tricks???? how about head tricks cuzz your whole head tries to fly out the window. this box was made by my homie down at "some BTL factory here in town" i'll have more pics and a vid when a secret part comes in that i'm waiting to complete the box with stay tuned.

  2. first i'd get the biggest alternator that your vehicle could hold or at least you can afford. next get the 1/0 ...... that's a must. then go about getting an aftermarket battery and you should be set bro.
    or u could an isolator and another battery prob 2 batterys that u should help u out it help alot

    dude your problem is the WIRE itself. 4gauge wire is only good for 135 amps and a Kicker 2500.1 pulls around 210amps which is why the amp is shutting off. upgrade wire FIRST, do not put in an alt first as this will cause your little 4ga to turn into toaster oven wire and burn itself or your amp and even your sub up.

  3. the cooling option replaces the standard pole piece with a "hollow" one

    the hollow pole will sacrafice motor force (BL) because there is less steel to "absorb" the magnetic force and turn it into some thing the coil can use....this makes it better for SPL use because the coil has more to repel and attract and the coil dont have to disperse alot of heat for a long time

    however, it will allow the coil to cool it's self a bit better....this makes it better for daily use where it is given power for extended periods of time

    correct me if im wrong

    the pole is not hollow mang it is actually machined on the outside in a spiral pattern so the sir flow will spiral and cool the coil (the new BTL's that is, the old BTL's have a chamferred groove that runs up and down vertically for the same outcome but not as effective as the new spiral design
